As I've only become "active" since May/June of last year, I really don't know many TST members, but these videos are awesome! It's really nice putting faces with avatars

In my case, previously you were probably like "well I assume he's one of those guys in the photo" whereas now you can be like "ok, well now I know he's the really handsome one in red in the middle."

That's one reason why we have a new VLog achievement/award.

Hmm, I'd love to get my application in but I just got several inches of snow today. I guess I'll have to be a candidate for a future month.

I'm in the same boat as @mchepp and @DaveP043, I too had a couple of difficulties with getting the right camera angles and missing shots as my camera phone moved while I was hitting.  I was also walking and tried to answer some questions and the bouncy camera didn't work all that well.  I did however do about 8 or 9 holes worth of golf until my phone died.  So if I have time this weekend, I'm hoping to be able to put something together.

I'm also playing Baltimore Country Club - East Course today, so if I have a chance (once we get out of sight of the clubhouse, no phones on the course) I'll have my friend do the taping and do the 3 hole vlog not on my home course and see how it comes out.  70 degrees again today.

I'm still having visions of @DaveP043's basement/golf museum. What an awesome room.

Thanks!  I snagged 'em right off the course website.

Yeah, nice touch.  I thought maybe you took your drone to the course and did it yourself though.

Well, I'm certainly no cinematographer but this came out a little better than expected.  Hope ya'll enjoy it.  I had fun making it.

Nicely done, I agree with others, these are getting really good.   I have played with Drew @Golfingdad at a TST outing a few years ago.  He can bomb the ball and is very calm when he plays, very impressive guy.

I will enjoy watching this year's tournament, as I have in years past, and dream of one day being able to participate.

Not only do you get to hear my answers, but you get a mini-tour of my basement.

I should video my California basement so you can have a chuckle of what I would have to work with for my man cave.

I enjoyed the tour, it's obvious you have a deep appreciation for the great sport of golf.

And with no kids, I've had the chance to collect my own junk, instead of kid junk.  It doesn't hurt that my wife is just as avid a golfer as I am.

Now I'm really bummed that I missed the Mid-Atlantic after golf festivities last year.  :-(

If I remember right, I had Dogfish 60 Minute on tap for that, and made a big pot of spaghetti carbonara for the group.  But we're close, there will always be more chances.

It is what I would consider a golf shrine. Of course of all the trappings, I was personally biased to the beer tap..

I considered myself a pretty serious golfer until I visited.

And a delicious carbonara it was! Hey I took Molly with her learners permit out past Stoneleigh this past weekend. That course is like a magnet because I found myself telling her to make the turn off Rt 7 to cruise around the side streets a bit.

Back on topic, at the Newport Cup there'll be no wives, no kids, no Duck Donuts, hopefully better weather than we had here last April, and just a little bit of beer.

Much like @mchepp did, I failed miserably at my first attempt to record a few holes at the golf course.  Its a learning experience, trying to get reasonable camera angles that don't cut off my head, or the ball, or big portions of the golf course.  So I'll try again another day.  However, I did manage to record the interview portion of my audition, and upload it.  Not only do you get to hear my answers, but you get a mini-tour of my basement.

I realized I forgot the data:

Shoes...Size 11 in True, Footjoy (11W when available), and Ashworth

Shirt...XL in almost every manufacturer, including Linksoul,  L in Footjoy

Pants....38 x 30
