Sometimes I have trouble like that. I reinstall the YouTube video and embed the new one again.

basically I start over, it hasn’t happened to me in a while. Still a pain

Thanks, Erik.

Retry on link post:

I realize I was a bit “laid off” at the top after watching previous video, so I tried to address it in this swing. At any rate, I’ll work on getting my hands away from me at address until routine before focusing on the hands/elbow in top position since that was your last correction.

I italicized (emphasized) "in". 🙂

I'd also get that trigger finger off the shaft like that. Craziness!

Then do I take my hands “deep” or “in” from the very beginning of the backswing? I guess I can look at your swing thread...

Look at anyone's swing. And move them "with your torso."

01.jpg

Look at how inward their left arms are already.

Different? Closer to what it should be?

I see what you mean...now. I still have work to do

Better, but yeah… rather than doing it with your wrists/hands/arms, do it for the first part of the backswing with your torso a bit more.

Addressed the finger issue as well

That's better. I'd still try not to roll it so much, but that's better.

3/24/20 - hands back and in

Looking back at your previous pic, it still needs to come more from the body rotation that what I did here

Get closer to the bleacher and try not to hit it on the way back.

Are you suggesting I come back before in? @iacas, as I understood him, was wanting me to bring my hands deeper from the initiation of the takeaway. I, of course, may be misunderstanding

    • He beat world no. 1 yesterday. So where's the problem? 😊
    • Tried this today on the putting green after the round.  I was pleasantly surprised at how accurate I was with this.  Would look at the hole, let my body align itself, look down at the putter to get it aligned, then look at the hole and make the stroke.  Within 5 feet or so I could still see the putter in my peripheral vision.  Longer putts - getting to 20 - 30 feet of course I could not.  Overall distance and accuracy was much better as I consistently had the ball stopping with 18" of the hole, many of them less than 12" or less.   A great confidence builder, will be making "heads up" a part of my warm-up routine.   What caused me to think about this today - one was the recent discussion about Jordan Spieth, second was the absolute abandon my now six year old grandson has.  He just walks up to the ball and makes the stroke and it looks like he is seeing the hole and not overly worried about anything else.
    • Sorry for the embed error....so again, would fixing the steepening in the first part of the downswing improve my ball striking? The pro was not too concerned about it because the club eventually shallowed in the lower part of the downswing. But I don't know....
    • World #1 Sheffler is +6 - looks like he will be going home as well.
    • So would fixing the steepening at the first part of the downswing improve my ball striking?  <iframe width="900" height="506" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/nGs1cUbma4A" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>   <iframe width="900" height="506" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/beJhUhotrck" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> GEARS 7 iron down the line 5-17-22 GEARS 7 iron face on 5/20/22
