Re-furbishing clubs are done by manufactures or specialty company or skilled individuals.

Maintain them by wiping off with a clean damp towel, grips first then the rest of the club.
A mild detergent is best, dishwashing liquid.

All irons, the grooves should be cleaned after every round with a soft cleaning brush.
Some wipe them with a wet towel as they play and give them a good cleaning after a round.
