My wife and I were outside this weekend, hanging out in the backyard with our kids.

I thought I'd give this a try... Is it too late to get a badge?????

By the way, yes I know my voice sounds funny. 2 things: Firstly, I'm just getting over the flu, my head is still stuffed up. Secondly, I was pretty excited to get it on the first try.

We must have some members of the TST who haven't done this yet.
Come on lets see some new efforts.

Needed some coaching and a borrowed wedge, but I did it.

You made it look easy!   I know different.   Great job.

When I practice this, nah....I've tried a few times.... If I ever do it, I won't have a camera handy and if I have a camera handy, I won't be able to do it.

I actually gave this 2-3 tries recently during some pitching practice.  But it was with my 58 off a pretty tight lie, couldn't get the ball to cover less than about 15-18 yards.  I have a shitty 64* wedge my old man gave me with my hand-me down clubs, and have been thinking about having a go with that and a fluffier lie...

Guess I’d better start practicing my flop shots then. Given how I’ve been doing with recent attempts, the ball would take off so hot I wouldn’t even get a chance to catch it 😂.

Woods: Cleveland Launcher (Driver, 17 degree, 22 degree)
Irons: Titleist T200 (4-PW)
Wedges: Callaway Jaws (50/54/60)

Shortly after getting drilled with a skulled flop shot from our own @RFKFREAK (I'll post that video too lol), I nailed it.

Dude, You made that look way too easy.

Next time, you have to do it with a half eaten bagel in your hands.

I was going to say that I am glad no one hurt themselves in attempting this challenge on Saturday, but I had forgotten about that incident.

Good practice drill, hit pitch shots with your right hand only. Not sure I can get the speed for the head height flop shot, but I think it could be possible to do a shorter flop shot one handed and catch it. Now, I am thinking of going to buy some bagels 😉

Just thought this was funny. I got an email this morning from YouTube that my flop shot video had been flagged for review. YouTube determined that it may not be suitable for all viewers and added an age restriction to it...haha. 0:07 second video and the only words spoken are Jacob saying "go ahead."

I have gotten that same thing. I didn’t respond assuming it’s some scamming going on.

Probably so. Most scamming emails I get have bad grammar, incorrect spelling, etc...that's usually the give away for me. This one actually looks legit

I figure if they want to label it as "not for kids" because it doesn't appeal to them, so be it. Really no one watches them anyway. Pretty soon YouTube will catch on to our derelict group of Sandtrappers 🙄
