I am not counting points yet for points that are obvious: for example, in Match 5 Phil is up 7 after 15 for the overall. That will be a point for red, but it's too confusing to partially do that.

There are 12 points up for grabs for the back nine and total. You can decide which are the ones that are basically conceded.

Plus, I believe there are still 5 challenge points left.

Blue needs a big big comeback. It’s not looking good for the host squad right now.

I think the challenges will be a crazy finish. Anything could happen.

You have the latest info, but as the board stands it's 28-27 RED.... IF all matches conclude the way they are now (a big IF, granted), with 5 challenges not invoked.

Then it boils down to: BLUE would need 4 of the 5 remaining challenges to win, 3 of the 5 remaining to tie.

Blue pulls it out!

Without the Challenge Balls… it would have been another tie.

As I've heard before, if you jake that just means you got the bet right! If you almost tie, that means you got the challenge and the teams right! Nice going everyone!

    • I likely won’t be playing any golf this weekend, so I’ll go ahead and post. This was from last Saturday. One of my coworkers and I played two holes after work. We went up to the reds on the par-3 second hole (playing about 95 yards that day) and hit our shots from there. I tried to take a little off a 50 degree and thinned it over the top of the flag and over the green. Then I plopped down another ball and decided to try a full swing 54 degree. Flushed it, and I saw it take one bounce right by the pin, then disappear. We practically sprinted up to the green and sure enough, there my ball was in the cup. Not sure if this counts as a true hole in one, but it was cool to make that shot!
    • He beat world no. 1 yesterday. So where's the problem? 😊
    • Tried this today on the putting green after the round.  I was pleasantly surprised at how accurate I was with this.  Would look at the hole, let my body align itself, look down at the putter to get it aligned, then look at the hole and make the stroke.  Within 5 feet or so I could still see the putter in my peripheral vision.  Longer putts - getting to 20 - 30 feet of course I could not.  Overall distance and accuracy was much better as I consistently had the ball stopping with 18" of the hole, many of them less than 12" or less.   A great confidence builder, will be making "heads up" a part of my warm-up routine.   What caused me to think about this today - one was the recent discussion about Jordan Spieth, second was the absolute abandon my now six year old grandson has.  He just walks up to the ball and makes the stroke and it looks like he is seeing the hole and not overly worried about anything else.
    • Sorry for the embed error....so again, would fixing the steepening in the first part of the downswing improve my ball striking? The pro was not too concerned about it because the club eventually shallowed in the lower part of the downswing. But I don't know....
    • World #1 Sheffler is +6 - looks like he will be going home as well.
