at home launch monitors directional accuracy

Recommended Posts

I'm interested in skytrak and other similar devices (more affordable at home indoor launch monitors).  I've been reading about them and watching reviews, and every single one seems to analyze the accuracy of the distance related numbers.  I don't care about distance when it comes to these devices, I only care about directional accuracy.  I want to know if I'm hitting the ball straight.

Are there reviews out there that I haven't found that focus on this aspect of these devices?

I can't vouch for the directional accuracy of any of the less expensive launch monitors. For example, the FlightScope Mevo, which is otherwise great, doesn't have a camera or a laser or anything to align it, so the numbers would be "off" somewhat anyway.

If the launch monitor will tell you the spin axis and you can judge the start line (where it hits the net is one simple topic), you can get at the flight pretty easily.
