Just a week and a half out. Errybody knows it's Tigs coming back, and nobody moves the needle like he does...

Predictions? Comments?

I think there'll be more guys finishing above him than below him, personally.

I predict he won't miss the cut.

I predict he has a top 20 finish (earning his first OWGR points since the 2016 Hero Challenge)

I predict we'll still be in the dark with regards to his health/back, and we'll be salivating for the next time he plays.

And if he does really well, the anticipation for The Masters will be insane.

Going out on a limb here.

According to Jason Day, havng spoken to Tiger, he has apparently never felt better. I predict he will either be the strongest on the leaderboard (i.e. at the bottom holding the rest up) or will have become some kind of billion dollar man, having been rebuilt, and will blow the field away. Never seems to be a happy medium with Tigger!

He’ll probably win 6 times this year, but only two of them will be majors.  He’ll come in fourth here though.

I'll be surprised if he finishes in the top 10.   I believe he'll look good early in the tournament but slide the final day.

Last year:

Tiger Woods  15th place   73    65   70   76    284     $107,000.00

although there were only 5 rounds to match his 65 or better.

Hideki Matsuyama won it with a 270, 14 strokes better than Tiger.

At first I was going to say that, if his game is "on", Tiger would have a better chance with only 18 competitors. But Wiki indicates these are the elite players in the world: " In 2008, the field was increased to 18 players, consisting of the most recent winners of the four major PGA tournaments, the top 11 available players from the Official World Golf Ranking, the defending champion, and two special exemption players selected by the [Tiger Woods] foundation." So he is going to play out of this world golf to win or come close to winning. Just an opinion, -Marv

I'm excited to hear if he's got some new terminologies for the media. Is he still firing glutes?
