Personally if a flawed adulthood meant I became the most successful golfer in history and made over $1,000,000,000 since the age of 20, my only question would be which dotted lines do I need to sign to have that kind of flawed adulthood.

I'm not necessarily sure that Tiger's childhood necessarily translated into his issues later in life, at least in terms of infidelity. It's possible that he was exposed to a lot of it since he grew up around the military, but there's certainly no indication that it was present in his father to set an example for him.

Whether it is accurate or not, the book said that his dad was abusive, and unfaithful to Tiger's mom.

Abusive towards Tiger is somewhat plausible, in terms of just the fact that he put Tiger through a hell of a lot for him to get to the place he's at now.

As far as unfaithful to his mom, I can't find a single other source mentioning that (at least not in the first page of Google results in 2 searches).

Really? I just googled “Earl Woods womanizer” and a bunch of non-recent results came up.

I found it amusing that Earl Woods is buried in Kansas in an unmarked grave. I guess all that cheating on his wife didn't really pay off in the end. Sounds like he had a good time though. He sure took a lot of the credit for Tiger becoming the golfer he has become.

You’re doing it wrong.

I don't get it. Should adultery secure you a marked grave?
