I find it "interesting" that the GC fantasy page is showing 86 hours until the start of this weeks contests.
Glitch, or can we just make our picks Sunday morning?

I noticed this because I went back to make sure nobody I'd picked had WD'd

Thanks, never played the Yahoo version, previously primarily played DraftKings tournaments thought so I'm familiar with the points and salary caps.  DraftKings was always just about the one tournament though, which is as its intended, so I always wanted to either find or create a good season long competition

Anyone else put any faith in the rookie?  Joaquin Niemann in his first event as a pro...felt appropriate to include him in my roster in my first event with this group

@Wally Fairway  - Steven Bowditch not such a good pick.
My advice would be drink six beers tonight, then take two aspirins in the morning and you'll feel better.

Sometimes they preform well in the first events, then usually feel the pressure more so from there on.
But hey, they have to get their feet wet at sometime.
Another player flying under the radar is a Monday Qualifier - Joshua Creel.

It was my last pick with minimum value left, and I still made a horrible choice (but I thought it could be funny)

I'm going to use this off week to have a serious talk with myself about how horribly I've been picking lately. Then I will likely continue to make horrific decisions for the remainder of the year

i give all credit to the other new guy, Joaquin Niemann - what a start to his pro career.  I was just hoping to get him through the cut and get 4 rounds of scoring, he exceeded that expectation slightly

Week off, back up at Quail Hollow. I didn't get to watch the Zurich last year....was in Palm Springs golfing....looking forward to watching the team event this year.

Congrats to DocShindig taking High Points on a week with very tough scoring.

Scoring was brutal this week with many teams "taking it on the chin"

Yeah that one is going to hurt. Was traveling with work and so focused on NHL playoffs I completely forgot. Going to need a few big time lineups the rest of the season to get back into contention.

Does everyone/anyone also enter the general public fantasy league on the GC board?
I do it, sometimes I just us the same players that I use for TST and sometimes I pick a completely team.

I don't think I could do any worse at this time, 12,201 entries and I'm currently in 12,181st place

I usually enter my TST roster in the public league as well.

So I tried a new strategy on the GC public fantasy contest - I pick 3 players with the lowest cost, which allowed me to pick 2 players at max cost (Jordan & Rickie) plus Adam Scott at like $23K - so $85K in the top 3 players .... it was interesting, but I doubt it will be a successful strategy
