Day 12.  Another day where I spent at least ten minutes hitting a 6-iron indoors.  Off a mat, into a net, mostly not real balls (although at this point it's partly because I haven't unpacked my very-old e6s that I was using as indoor range balls at the previous home).

Day 24

Well my kids finally got their first cold of the school year, and passed it along to me. So seeing as I'm a bit under the weather, today's practice was reading LSW and putting practice in my living room.

Day 13.  I cannot believe I missed yesterday (11/21).  I was home working in my office for 6 hours, adjacent to my golf room, and didn't get over there for five minutes, smh.

At least today I got ten minutes of 6-iron practice swings (both without a ball and with an indoor practice ball) completed.  Indoors, mat, net, practice balls.

Day 14.  Several times during housework today, I wandered into my hobby room to hit (practice/plastic) balls with my 6-iron, off a mat, into a net.  Full swings, slow, getting the weight back in the backswing and forward in the forward swing.

Powered through illness to play 18 but utterly exhausted afterward. Worked on more indoor putting watching NFL rest of day.

Day 15.  I knew when I set this up it'd be great.  My gameday couch and the room with the golf practice room are adjacent.  Several times during the day, I was able to get up and hit a few (practice balls, off a mat, into a net, indoors, mid-iron).  Same focus as before, with the shift back and backswing first.

Day 28

My cold is going nowhere fast. Just a bit of indoor putting practice before work this morning. Not much energy for more than that.

Day 16.  After work and before dinner, 10 minutes indoor practice (off a mat, into a net, not real balls).  Can't wait to hit outdoors again but the weather and my schedule won't permit it for the next week or so.

Day 29

Okay, my cold is dissipating and I had energy for full swings. Also, rain is coming to the Bay Area, so might be the last chance for outdoor practice for a week.

Warmup with 100 jumping jacks. Worked on long iron full swing (4-iron). Started off with about 20 full swings at what felt like 50% speed, focusing on making a full turn and getting weight to the lead side at impact, and making centerface contact. Moved to another 20 swings at full speed, with the same focus. Ball striking was good, only about 10% off the toe or fat/thin, and everything else was solid.

Had to put the mat and balls in my garage as it started raining a bit toward the end. Looks like only indoor practice through the holiday weekend.

Day 17.  Got home from work and hit two dozen balls (indoors, off mat, into net, practice balls).  It's the same thing regularly, but I'm enjoying it and I think it's helping.  You know the plan:  slow swings, practice swings first, weight shift.

Day 504

Working with the driver, primarily, slow practice in hitting 25 shots, I concentrated on full follow through to avoid sending them off to the left.

Fair success. with minimal loss of yardage.

Will have a full set run through early tomorrow if rains hold!

Day 30

Lesson today so I have some new things to work on. Worked on a feel drill to help keep shoulders closed and back rather than open and forward. Did full swings with 7-iron, 4-iron, and 5-wood with this feel drill.
