Day 117

Did a superspeed workout, and also the COVID-19 Practice Plan Challenge day 1 drills. Actually did them twice.

Outside of the COVID-19 Challenge, I hit Gap and Pitching Wedges, 9 irons, and 8 irons into the net.  I tried to focus on what iacas had us do in the takeaway drill, and used my launch monitor to get yardages.

Day 95 - April 2, 2020

Full swing work again. This is going to be almost everything that I do.

Not the above given what happened yesterday. Just hit some putts downstairs, in the basement, testing out the Puttist.

Day 33 - yesterday’s post got stuck in the editor because I’m a dummy. I warmed up and played a virtual 9. I would have done 18 but it was really cold out. I also did the Day 1 drill.

Today, rain held up and I was able to work on my priority piece with all my irons. Focus was on a smooth transition with palmar flexion and swinging out more from the top. Then I filmed the Day 2 drill.

Day 39: Did the COVID-19 practice schedule. Matched up fairly well with my priority piece, so worked on that a bit with the third drill as well (not moving as much off the ball as my trigger).

COVID-19 Practice Plan Challenge day 2 drills, and a handful of balls with a 7-iron afterward.

Day 96 - April 3, 2020

Full swing work again. This is going to be almost everything that I do.

Not true, but keeping that there as I'll need it soon. Muscle strain is healing but still not there, so I did a good bit of pitching work before/during/after a lesson. I stayed away from the lesson recipient.

Day 34 - Did the COVID Day 3 drill. Another rainy day, so not outside stuff. Then work on chipping motion into a net in a net in my basement. Focused on the pivot moving the arms.

Day 40: Did a superspeed sessoin and did the practice plan drills.

COVID-19 Practice Plan Challenge day 3 drills, superspeed workout, and some full swings with a 7-iron just because I like hitting balls.

Full swing work again. This is going to be almost everything that I do.

Not true again, but the muscle strain is nearly healed. Today I worked in the mirror while some videos were rendering/exporting.

Full swing work again. This is going to be almost everything that I do.

Just a little of that, this time. More tomorrow. I did a good amount of practice today on a whole bunch of things in trying to come up with more drills for the COVID-19 April Practice thing.
