Day 54:

Did a lot of rehearsals throughout the day, no club, just feeling arms move around body. Found a tempo and feel that works good for me. Hit some balls with 7-iron incorporating this, and added more rehearsals between balls.

DAY 14:

Putting Practice (35 rolls, 6'6"):

SCORING SYSTEM: 3=In the hole; 2=rimmed out;; 1=outta gas near hole (tap in)

2.20 average (11 = longest sink streak) 😃 [Personal Best]

Normally, I roll 25 putts... but I was on a streak at the end... so I kept rolling. 😁

Day 89 (24 Sep 21) - Played 18 today.  Was a day where everything seemed a little off - from drives, to approaches to wedges.  One thing was majorly different, we were a little pressed for time to get there and I did not get opportunity to warm up some on the range.  Really think that was key to the "offness" I was sensing.  Repeatable steps in the routine does make a difference.

Day 90 (25 Sep 21) - beach day, so no clubs instead worked on shoulder turns keeping arms crossed, getting the weight transferred and head still.  Knew this was this issue with yesterday’s round, need to keep this as part of my daily routine.

DAY 15:

Driver practice (since I didn't use it on the course).  Absolutely amazed at the power 💥 I'm getting from my new stick...  Planned to be in the pit for 15 minutes... spent 30 'cause this driver is addictive. 😈

Day 57:

Played 18 this morning. A little too much technical thinking going on to play really well, but I am happy with new thought/feel to get me delivering the club to the ball better.

Day 336: Terrible driving round today. Scrambled well but could not control where the drives would go. I will hit the range tomorrow.

DAY 16:

"Every club in my bag" session in my golf pit (60 min)

Range session, ditto (60 min).  Closed out with just the SIM MAX Driver.  So much fun. 😊

I hit the ball so much today, my forearms are sore. 😁

Day 91 (26 Sep 21) - While still at the beach, grabbed the old 9i and a couple of balls and spent about an hour in the never ending sand trap….well, it wasn’t that bad as the sand offered everything from powder (buried/fried egg) to packed (sitting pretty) to flat lies to below/above the feet lies.  Enjoy these sessions as they also give great feedback on the swing arc, especially the packed stuff.

Day 211.  Played 18 today, and really came to life in the second nine.  3 pars, bogey, 3 pars, closed out with two bogeys.   Shot a 39 for the second nine, something I'm not sure I've done at that course before (Hansen Dam).  I've had days where I hit a bunch of GIRs on that second nine, one day it was 7 GIR + 2 near, but I think I shot 40 or 41 on the second nine that day.

    • A truly awful story to be sure.  Part of this is the general disbelief that men can be the victims of sexual assault. That's a belief that goes well beyond the confines of the United Center or professional hockey. It made it easy for Blackhawk management to dismiss the allegations. When the guys at the top of an organization fail to do anything, nobody under them will rock the ship much. Especially not a ship that was headed toward a Stanley Cup victory. Kane and Toews comments reflect they didn't take it very seriously back then and that they still don't now.

    • Nope, not all conferences are created equal....  It should be teams in Power-5 conferences and a few independents if they play enough power-5 teams.  No non-power 5 conference is better than a power-5 conference.  The best team in the conference could miss out on the conference championship.  What if Ohio State, beat Wisconsin during the season. Wisconsin is 9-2 versus OSU 11-0 in a rematch in the conference championship game. Wisconsin wins, is Wisconsin the best team in the conference? At best, they are equal because they are 1-1 during the season. If you throw in conference record, it is OSU with 11-1 versus 10-2.  You should take the conference champion in each conference power-5 conference (5 teams), then for an 8-team playoff, the next best 3 teams. If a 12 team playoff, the next best 7 teams.
    • Yeah, all of the interviews I’ve heard so far have seemed pretty shallow.  The Edmonton sports media is a joke at best, but at least they made Duncan Keith squirm for ten minutes plus.       Up next, coach Joel Quenelleville.  Good luck backtracking your way out of this one, guy.
    • I'm a little confused as to what you propose as your format.  Is each player playing his own ball all the way to the hole, or are you doing some variation like a scramble or shamble?  How are you calculating team handicaps?  There might be some ways to work it out, but you'd have to start with those details first.
