chipping and putting indoors if I cannot get outside everyday. Inside 100 yards is the key to golfing success!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it's not at all, @Billsy. Check out the links that @klineka posted up above.

Day 379:

I have to work today, besides winter is rearing it's ugly head again, So I did a few drills for A4 to A5 with my 4-wood (don't carry a 3-wood) indoors. I have a lesson coming up on Wednesday.

The supersoft conditions, wind, and how heavy and damp the air was caused me to lose a good bit of distance. I hit a couple 8-irons from 140 that were coming up short, and this was after I had adjusted for the wind and heaviness of the air. Maybe in a couple weeks, I can get a couple days when it's warmer and the air density is normal.

Day 104.

Just got off the practice green. Shot a +5, 77 for 36 pins. This Heavy Putter and myself are developing a decent relationship.

Greens were rolling fast. I had 7 three putts. Most were misses that continued to roll down hill if the ball went past the hole. This practice green seems to be tougher than most of greens on the course.

A whole bunch of Tour Edge golf stuff......

Day 380:

Did some A4 to A5 work again today most of the focus was leading my body into a good position so my weight is forward.

Day 105

Chipping, one putt practice this morning. Focus was on green reads, and chipping the ball close enough for 1 putts. Only used one ball.

After that I practiced 4' putts. Made all the straight ones, missed a few breakers.

Still nursing the reminants of a pinched nerve I suffered a few weeks ago.  No full swing allowed yet.

Day 10 of 12:

20-30 mins of mirror work and making slow specific swings with a 6 iron working on priority piece. Then filmed a full swing 6I from FO view. First full swing in over a week with anything more than a lob wedge. Everything else has been very slow. One thing I liked was I noticed in the mirror in my DTL view that the club was working away from me to start the downswing....I have never been able to do that before without hitting some wonky shots. Today things felt good even if mostly slow.

    • Day 4- Slow, short swings with short practice club.
    • Day 119: 4/24/24 Chipping and pitching followed by putting through 50 mm gates.
    • @boogielicious and I are definitely in for the Stay & Play and will need the extra night's stay on Friday. I don't know what the plans are for our group on Friday but even if we don't make it for dinner with the rest of the Friday arrivals, I'll be more than happy to meet up somewhere for a beer or something.
    • Taking your dispersion and distance in consideration I analyzed the 4 posible ways to play the hole, or at least the ones that were listed here. I took the brown grass on the left as fescue were you need to punch out sideways to the fairway and rigth of the car path to be fescue too.  Driver "going for the green"  You have to aim more rigth, to the bunker in order to center your shotzone in between the fescue.  Wood of 240 over the bunkers I already like this one more for you. More room to land between the fescue. Balls in the fescue 11% down from 30% with driver. Improve of score from 4.55 to 4.40. 4 iron 210 yards besides the bunkers.    Also a wide area and your shot zone is better than previous ones. This makes almost the fescue dissapear. You really need to hit a bad one (sometimes shit happens). Because of that and only having 120 yards in this is the best choice so far. Down to 4.32 from 4.40. Finally the 6 Iron 180 yards to avoid all trouble.    Wide area an narrow dispersion for almost been in the fairway all the time. Similar than the previous one but 25 yards farther for the hole to avoid been in the bunkers. Average remains the same, 4.33 to 4.32.  Conclusion is easy. Either your 4iron or 6 iron of the tee are equaly good for you. Glad that you made par!
    • Wish I could have spent 5 minutes in the middle of the morning round to hit some balls at the range. Just did much more of right side through with keeping the shoulders feeling level (not dipping), and I was flushing them. Lol. Maybe too much focus on hands stuff while playing.
