Day 237, June 25, 2022

Had a possibly productive day today at the range at Lake View. I think I was focusing so much on what the arms were doing that my lower body wasn't doing anything. Hit some better at the end.

Still too narrow.

Day 111.  Played 18 today with friends.  Since I got to the course early, I did a lot of putting and pitching practice before warming up.  The latter did me some immediate good (the course has a nice 50 yard pitching area, and I was able to verify some half swing distances that I wanted to see some numbers about), the former...

Okay, so today I shot an 87.  Not bad, not great.

I had putter in hand for every par attempt.  15 of those 18 came from within 10 feet.

I made three pars.

But I didn't make anything worse than bogey today.    But I made 15 of those.

And, of course, GameGolf failed to upload the round.

Day 5, 6/25/2022

I actually did some mirror work today. Mostly with a 5 iron. Worried that my swing is becoming too "handsy".

Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to get it on video until Monday.

Day 159:

Worked on driver setup changes, and then some driver swings with almost golf balls.

Did some work on priority piece with 7-iron, 30 balls, 10 super slow, 10 mid-speed, and then 10 full speed but with pre-shot routine (this was more pre-shot routine practice instead of working on the change).

Finally, did a bit of short game practice, mostly working on bunker technique, but did some COvid-19 day 6/7 drills too.

Day 609: Practiced for about 20 minutes today focusing on the hands, same as yesterday. Didn’t film because it was too hot and sunny.

Day 160:

Played 18 this morning. Driver setup changes made a big difference in performance with that club, but still need to work on the dynamic portion of the change.

Scored well, and I think it is a testament to the work I've been doing on mechanical change, and also helped by having a consistent pre-shot routine to commit and execute the swings. Didn't have any amazing shots, but really limited mistakes today.

Day 112.  Found out yesterday that I was doing a drill from Evolvr wrong;  I spent 15 minutes today following the correction very closely.  Step club step club.  The usual early-in-a-drill-slash-change mix of some poor shots and some solid ones.  Indoors, off a mat, real balls, into a net.

Day 6: 6/26/2022

Spent a bunch of time today going over my previous couple of priority pieces.

Working on each of them a bit in the mirror and a bit in the garage hitting balls into the net.

Day 238, June 26, 2022

Went to the range. Hit one pull with an 8I. Hit one great. Hit the next two poorly because the swing got much too long. Hit the last one good.

Went to the back of the range. Hit three drivers really well, with the last landing right in front of the people practicing at the other end. Hit some wedges.

Went out and played 8 holes in -1. Didn't really miss a shot.

Day 113.  I spent about 30 minutes this morning on the drill from my latest Evolvr lessons.  I plan to do more during the day and also some more practice, but that was what I did for purposes of the challenge.

Day 610: Practiced in the rain today at North Kingstown. It was intermittent and I had my umbrella and rain cover. Worked on the same pieces and I think I am starting to get it. Reviewed a DTL video that @iacas sent me (for the 20th time) and it’s starting to register. There was also an AMG video I stumbled upon that showed the same thing. Plus Erik worked with me on this in Erie. Breaking an old habit is a challenge.

Day 7: 6/27/2022

I had big plans for today. But real life interfered. I only had time to do bead work. Putting in my office. Basically Day 15 of the Covid-19 practice plan.
