Day 104 (25 Sep 23) - Picked back up with 9 to 3 drill, hitting easy pitches with the PW and GW in the backyard.  Focused on not collapsing the trail arm on the backswing and over cocking the wrist, likewise doing the same in reverse with the lead arm after impact.

Day 79: Did a putting session on my mat, working on raising the handle at address. Also did a bit of mirror work, just working on some set up stuff (grip, arms, and ball position).

Day 32:

Hit balls with 4, 6, and 8 iron, focus was just to be athletic. Last round I felt wooden over the ball and swinging the club, so just wanted to have fluid motion today.

Day 330, September 26, 2023

Played 18 holes, and hit some really good shots and some really bad ones… but I know exactly why. So… all good. Going to the range to help but also will hit shots in the downtime.

Day 144 - Played 18 holes.

Did a better job of committing to my priority piece with irons and hit some really high quality mid/long iron shots. Doing a partial practice swing feeling the left side bend before stepping up to the ball helped a lot.

Driver was hot/cold, hit some really really good drive with multiple of them going 300+yd and also some really poor snap hook/toe balls. Waiting on my new shaft to arrive so looking forward to cleaning up those misses.

Putting remained very solid, this stretch since getting the Evolvr putting lesson is without a doubt the best I've ever putted (Shoutout to you @iacas), making so many more 5-20 footers than I ever have and feels like every miss is burning an edge or hitting a lip. Crazy how much easier putting has become when I already had good speed and reads and now I got the bead portion taken care of too.

Day 105 (26 Sep 23) - Monthly church men’s 9 hole super ball event.  Was fun being the fairway finder guy off the tee, really opens up for the big guns to let it rip….and we would still play my ball more times than not as theirs would be lost to the woods and water…

Day 33:

Lackluster stack session, probably should have skipped but I tend to become a slave to my schedule. Just a low energy day. Did some backswing rehearsals and yardstick putting drill during the rest between sets.

Played 18 at WW with @iacas. Was focusing on my transition piece, but failed miserably at it. Also used the Stack putting program on the course. Some work to do there lol.

Day 331, September 27, 2023

Played 18 with Alex and @DrizZzY. For whatever reason, really did not do what I needed to do outside of about three or four swings.

Day 145 - Lengthy short game session followed by a few putts.

Feeling like I'm steeper into the ball especially out of the rough made a tremendous difference. Need to keep grooving it but chipped and pitched so much better today out of the rough than I did yesterday.

    • That’s sad. I’ve played there many times. Never had that slow a round.
    • Day 307: about a 1.75 hour practice session. Spent the first bit practicing all types of short game shots. Then went and worked on long game - finding a good feel for swings as well as checking alignment and aim. Need to feel like I’m slightly open for the right aim.
    • Day 23 (23 May 25) - Played Friday scramble as usual - came away with some good thoughts on the green side of things.  It was a day where I was lacking confidence in the wedge game and played a number of them short, however I went back to some of my readings about playing to the “big” side of the green and saw much better long approaches.
    • That is absolutely insane. I’ve never played a 6 hour round before. Once I played a round that took 3:00 for the front nine and I walked off. I was kind of salty about that at the time because the guy in the shop said if I wait 10 minutes to check in, I’d get twilight rates, but what he failed to mention were the three other groups lined up ahead of me doing the exact same thing. Totally not worth the $20 I saved. I played a course once that was kind of the opposite. Despite being built in the 90’s, the contours on the greens were ridiculous and they had to keep the greens fairly long to compensate. It was an awful experience.
    • Asked a friend of mine how his Monday round was at Trull Brook GC.  He said it was awful… took 6 hours and 45 minutes.  He said they went inside to complain afterwards and the course didn’t care.  They told him “it’s bust, nothing we can do about it.”. Can u  imagine??  It’s a short well kept 18 hole course that does shave their greens down so it’s really not fun to play there.  The greens were built back before mowers could cut them that short .He said it was $100 to play as well.
