Day 392, November 27, 2023

Practiced for 15 minutes after lessons today. Right now I have a small tendency to go toward the ball a little bit on the downswing (I had to a little), but literally just recognizing that I'm catching them in the heel a bit and I can resolve that.

Still backswing work almost exclusively. Right wrist curl, up and out. Feel.

Erik J. Barzeski —  I knock a ball. It goes in a gopher hole. 🏌🏼‍♂️

Day 1 (27 Nov 23) - Started back with the plan today after taking a break for travel, family stuff.  Worked with the 50deg wedge - focused on setup, stance.  Hit some foam balls across the yard.  Felt good to get some swings in.

Day 2: 11/28/2023

I started overspeed training today.
I'm sticking with my SuperSpeed Golf Sticks for now.
I looked at my golf budget for this year and I'm a little out of control.

I actually have 3 golf trips planned for 2024, so I decided not to invest in "The Stack" just yet.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 142: Putted on my mat for a while waiting for my computer to restart during a forced IT upgrade (always fun!). Worked on set up and speed on short putts.

Day 2 (28 Nov 23) - played 18 at Minnesott today - cool (temps in the 40’s) and brisk (NW winds 10-15).  Played from the golds (5500 yds) with small set (5w, 5i, 7i, 50-54-58 wedges, putter).  Goal for the day - any shot from 150 in - wedges only.  Really enjoy playing with fewer clubs and having to really plan the next shot.

Day 393, November 28, 2023

Practiced for ten minutes before the start of lessons. Not quite as much time as I wanted, but I should have time to put in a good 45 minutes or so tomorrow.

Day 3: 11/29/2023:

Went to the outdoor range today and really enjoyed it. Even though it's very cold outside the heaters they have in each bay makes it quite tolerable.

Worked on my priority piece for while with the 6 iron, the 9 iron, the driver and finally with the 3 wood. I "feel" like my swing is in a really good place. I need to get some film on it soon.

After that, I "played" my tournament course on the range. Basically setting targets, putting imaginary boundaries, even making places on the range represent hazards.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Did you go to the Westerville one? Or is there another one in the area that has heated stalls?
