Day 417, December 21, 2023

Was going to practice for a solid hour after helping @NatalieB with her swing, but talked to a student for awhile, so got almost ten minutes in later.

Day 24: 12/21/2023:

Got about 20 minutes working on bead with my putting mat. I feel like my putting has improved a lot. I feel like I can hit my bead pretty much all the time. Choosing the line may be a different story. 

Also did my overspeed training. I'm feeling slow lately and its showing in my numbers. I'm hoping once I stop eating half a dozen Christmas Cookies every day, things will get better.

Did some downswing work in the dark. Not great, but maybe better than nothing.

Practiced transition for ten minutes after working with Beewee.

Day 14 (22 Dec 23) - Played 18 w/men’s group at Minnesott.   Not best in terms of distance, however course management was respectable as I never really had a bad or blocked out lie.

Day 166: went to the range with my son. Filmed a bit while working on feels. Looks like I’m making some improvements, so that’s great.

Good session with @DrizZzY. Transition mostly, shorter backswing is a must. Just run out of steam earlier.

Day 14 (23 Dec 23) - worked on weight shift (using “nudge drill) today hitting a few hard foam balls in the backyard.

Was looking forward to a good 2.5 hours, but got sucked into helping a student for awhile. So, I stayed longer and got a good hour in.

Day 168: stole some time alone and  did the yardstick putting drill.

Day 15 (24 Dec 23) - rolled out the 18’ X 30” carpet runner in the backyard for some lag putting drills….set it up to where it was a slight uphill putt with a table top about 3’ from the end.  Too much speed and the ball went off the back across the shop floor, too little and it would almost roll back to the start station (this carpet rolls really fast), just right it would die at / near the target cup….

Day 31- Unfortunately my new Takomo irons didn't make it in time for Christmas. Backswing and weight transfer drills with short practice club. Merry Christmas!

Day 16 (25 Dec 23) - Merry Christmas everyone - did some mirror work in between family goings today.  Focused on feeling the weight in the lead foot.
