Day 76: just a lighter mirror work day. Working on grip, checking backswing, and working on a few downswing feels.

Day 262 - More putting, main focus was on setup. Specifically, making sure my feet were perpendicular to my starting line, as I’ve noticed that can be an issue.

Day 2 - 2024-10-02

Chipped and pitched around every green on the front nine at WW with @DrizZzY playing. Hit between 6 to 24 shots around every green.

Day 153 (02 Oct 24) - More work with swing tempo today w/7i.  Worked on staying fluid and not over firing in the downswing. As it was all backyard work, stayed with hard foam balls.

Day 263 - More work on my putting setup, being aware of how my feet are aligned.

Day 77: absolute shit show of a day. Got in some putting on my mat - focused on handle high and then a good stroke.

Day 1: 10/2/24

Hurricane Helene interrupted my streak. Putted through 50 mm gates. Hard to believe how missing a few days had me clanging putts off the gates so frequently!

Day 3 - 2024-10-03

Hit about 40 9I today. Maybe a bit less. Also hit a few chips with my 9I and a few lower spinning shots with the lob wedge.

Thumb joint is still pretty tender. The bone bruise is going to take awhile. I hit some of the 9I about 105 yards, though. And toward the end probably hit some closer to 120.

Day 154 (03 Sep 24)- 

Today was the weekly nine hole round with my good friend.  Not a scorers paradise by any means.  Really solid off the tee and “most” approaches.  Had something happen not once but twice (one counted, the other didn’t) - a full blown hosel rocket off the Pw and later the 9i (thankfully the 9i rocket was just me messing around after the round).  There was a time when I would be panicked about the hosel rockets, but have learned that bad shots happen.  
 

Looking forward to this weekend as I get to play a new course to me - local, short (just over 6k), known for tight fairways…gonna be fun.

Day 2- 10/3/24

Par4success workout this morning. Slow-mo backswings and putts through 50 mm gates. Little better start line tonight.

Day 264 - More putting setup, trying to get different looks at the cup on the limited space.

Day 78: just a bit of mirror work today. Working on the same stuff.

Day 155 (04 Oct 24) - Wedge work today with the 54 in the backyard.  Focused on short pitches from 10 - 25 yds.

Hit some chips and soft full swing shots again.

Day 79: did a stack session.

Day 265 - More putting with some backswing work. Elbow is improving, so hopefully I can work on some downswing moves that don’t make the pain worse.

Day 3- 10/4/24

Putting through 50 mm gates.

Day 156 (05 Sep 24) - Played new to me course today, it’s near our beach place and have been wanting to play it for a couple of years now.  It’s a neat Par 70 that plays just over 6k from the tips, played the whites 5,500 +/-.  Tight fairways and severely undulating greens made for some great shot strategy.  Wound up with an even 80 that included two lost ball penalties.  Putter was solid - 28 total.  Wedge play kept the pars happening - 6 of the 9 pars were up and downs.  Not bad for the first time on a new course.
