Day 31: 1/10/2025

Not much time today. I did get at least 5 minutes in though because of the 7 iron outside my office door. Every time I went in or out I got a minute or two of mirror work in.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Day 252 (11 Jan 25) - Got in some 54° wedge work off the mini-mat in the backyard - hitting from the tight lies side of the mat.  Worked on distance control - picking a landing target ahead of where I wanted the ball to finish.  Solid session - getting some nice finishes close to the pin “target”.  Worked from distances ranging from 10yds to 20yds.

Day 178: slow rehearsal swings for about 10 minutes this morning. Worked on the feels for the backswing, checked a few times in a mirror. Feeling good - hoping snow will melt so I can hit up a range soon.

Day 253 (12 Jan 25) - Grandson put in before church today to play nine this afternoon. Temps in the 40’s and the kid wants to play (and look for lost golf balls).  We load up and head out for a 2pm tee time.  Play wise it was a good and not as good session.  Ball was playing shorter so it was about playing what the course was giving.  Made for rethinking what was the better club, for the most part all worked well.  Shot 6 over 42, could have easily been sub-40 as I had several putts that died dead center less than 6” from the hole.  Best part of the day was seeing my 8-1/2 yr old grandson par both par 3’s from the most forward tees (a new best for him).

Day 33: 1/12/2025

Good stuff today. I got in a lot of 7 irons in the garage and a lot of mirror work.

I will have to get some more video this week to see where I am.

Day 179: did some mirror work while watching the playoff game. Working on the early backswing stuff. It’s looking pretty good I think.

Day 11 - Hoped for a range session but sadly a home improvement project went on three times as long as it should have. So more mirror work today.
