DAY 65  February 6th   I will be doing my 5 Minutes indoors for the next three days, as I am Chair of a group of volunteers for the Heroes Ladies Invitation golf tournament. ..  If you have been following me I have been working on eliminating the sway off the ball on the backswing and forward of the ball on the downswing.  So today I spent time working on my downswing, by putting my lead foot against a wall, setting up in golf posture, then with my hands across my chest, turning back and through.  On the through, my shoulders and arms do not hit the wall so I am not swaying... what I can say after doing this lots of times today, is that is shows tightness in my left hip.   Can't wait to take this to the range on Wednesday.

Day 67.  Played in a club tournament.  Shot an 83 (no birdies, nine pars).  Three double bogeys:  a GIR + 4 putts, plus two three-putts after missing greens (one from sand, one from a short sided pitc

Day 34 - more putter work (rainy morning) on the indoor putting green, work from 3ft, 5ft & 7ft.  Worked in 8 ball sets - had to make 6of8 before to next distance.  3 pretty consistent, but 2’ changes things.  Also got outside to make some full swings working on getting weight forward on the downswing...used a homemade rocker board to help the weight shift sensation.

DAY 66  February 7th  Continued to do a Mike Bender drill that focuses on rotating and not swaying as you work your way through the downswing.  Using my home office wall instead of the famous Mike Bender Green Wall.

Day 406 - February 7, 2021

Ten minutes at the end of a long day. I was pretty late getting to Lowe's, but at least the car wash was less busy.

DAY 67  February 8th  Seems like I just posted this yesterday.... I guess I did since I am doing the same thing in my limited time available.  Continued to do a Mike Bender drill that focuses on rotating and not swaying as you work your way through the downswing.  Using my home office wall instead of the famous Mike Bender Green Wall.

Day 38 - Changes aren't sticking as well as I'd like, so today I'm really exaggerating a slow, overly steep backswing with excessive hip turn.

    • Well the only thing in that response that is that it’s correct that people shouldn’t assume that Native Americans are sitting around fuming about this.  And personally that wouldn’t be my concern here.   While it’s important to try and consider the feelings of others (try it some time!), I personally don’t think that what this country did to Native Americans was right and I don’t think we should be using a name like that.  As we grow as a culture (try it some time!) we find these things and need to evaluate whether we are going to far, or not enough to have an inclusive society.  Or even just trying to be respectful.      whether the people you know feel differently, we’ll that’s fine.   That’s their opinion and that’s mine. please post your address so I can send you a mirror.  It might help with being able to see the opinion of arrogant white men.
    • It’s going to come down to companies and non-government institutions to make things better.  Our political system, and politics, are too fractured for cooperation.  I even think a blanket federal mandate has big issues.  We don’t need everyone vaccinated, just more than we have.   I’m fine to have a solid 10% of people who don’t get it because they think Bill Gates is microchip happy, or it’s going to turn you into a Mole person.   Or whatever morons whose sandwich count is well short of a picnic.
    • It looking more and more like Michigan is going to be going back to masks required.   Nothing official yet but several counties have such a huge uptick that they are recommended that masks be worn for everyone.   MSU and UM have now made requirements for all staff, facility and students be vaccinated.
    • I’m not a big fan of that drill. It can cause your right elbow to get stuck on your side. I like this drill better and the feel that the right arm widens the backswing. Also, ‘staying connected’ doesn’t really mean that your arms should be glued to your sides. Check this thread out.
    • Bullshit. You’re trolling. Did you poll any other native Americans or just the ones who would agree with your take? Or maybe your ‘friend’ just agreed with you because they are tired of your endless whining. Stop embarrassing yourself with your ‘silliness’.
