That's a pretty good pass you make at the ball for a 22 handicap.  Stance a little stiff, but dang, I'd have pegged you at a much lower handicap.  Then again, I'm no expert and have been away from the game forever.

Actually my apologies i never updated my handicap! I started off last season on 22 i finished at 15! Thanks for the compliment!

Yes i have a problem being stiff as a board need to loosen up!

Makes more sense now, you're a little bit above average, because that looked like an above average swing. I guess loosen up, relax a little in the stance, but better run that by Iacas, he's forgotten more about golf than I know.

Definitely closer to a 1 plane swing. **Disclaimer: I'm not a coach in any shape or form so take the following bits of advice with a grain of salt.**

It does look like the shaft steepens slightly throughout the swing and based on that one swing it looks like you come out to in slightly (hard to tell for sure without launch monitor numbers)

As far as how to practice your transition, I would recommend working on opening your hips and chest more before/at impact. You will probably need to feel like you are opening them as soon as you start your downswing (At least that's the feeling I use and it is working so far)

You are just before impact in the 3rd picture, and look how closed your hips are (I'm the exact same way) compared to pretty much any tour Pro, here is Adam Scott right at impact. Notice how much more open his hips and chest are to the target compared to yours in the 3rd picture above.

This below further explains my topic (Taken from the "GolfTec Numbers (Golf Digest Aug. '17) Post made by iacas in the Swing Thoughts section of this site.)

Hip Turn at Impact

Pros: 36° open to the target line
Ams: 19.5° open
Notes: Amateurs stall for a lot of reasons, but one of the bigger ones is that they stall so that they can try to drop the club inside a little and get the clubhead down to the ball. Often this isn't something you worry about until you're a lower handicap golfer, but good golfers almost all rotate through impact - you won't find many PGA Tour pros who are relatively "square" at impact.
Example: Dustin Johnson and Jim Furyk are wide open at impact:

    • Day 211 (29 Nov 24) - Friday men’s round albeit a solo foursome (temps in the 40’s, day after Thanksgiving and the average age closer to 75 - I’m a youngster at 65).  Interesting day of semi-solid play (8 of 18 GIR). Hit all four par threes in one (a first) - parred each; still had a couple 3 putt bogies; and blew up on 3 of the par 5’s (go figure)). The blow ups were some serious tree rattlers - amplifying how I got stupid and greedy instead of smart and content to just get back in the short stuff.
