"Walk Out" Music When Announcing Players? 2018 Zurich Classic

Being a former baseball player myself, I think this is a great idea and I voted "awesome"

I always enjoyed the process of choosing walkout songs, and hearing what songs other people on my own team and other teams chose. I was a pitcher so mine played for a longer duration for either the first inning or while coming out of the bullpen than the 10-20 seconds that played for each hitter.

I think it will allow the personality of the teams to shine through a little, without being too distracting.

I'm assuming the tour would use "clean" versions of songs to account for TV coverage and young kids in the audience.

I think it's a good idea for the first tee, but I think the fans on the tee ought to choose it for each player, so they can have a bit of a fun.  So Poulter might end up with Right Said Fred's "I'm too sexy", while Reed might get Chesney Hawkes classic  "The One and Only" etc

Yeah I’m not a big fan of the songs chosen based on where they’re from (boring and Spieth-like) But I guess the PC world can’t let them have some fun and choose anything personality/attitude/appearance wise as to avoid offending the softies out there.

Did not care for the music, do not like load music in other carts when we are playing, I think it distracts from the fun of playing golf.  Also I did not like the fact there are so many Pros playing this week that clearly do not have the game to be out there...R. Sabbatini/J. Daly  that is an example of two guys that should have spent the last two days on the range and putting greens not out playing with guys that have their games under control....

Makes for a pretty exciting weekend when Rahm, Spieth, Thomas, Garcia all missed the cut. As did Dou/Zang who shot an 80 today in alternating shot.
