Tiger must feel pretty lousy after that day. He blew it up on three holes and got severly punished. On the first he missed the green and ended up with a triple after making a mess around the green. On 13 he straight up four-putts from 14 yards. On 14 he finally found some tall grass and came out with another double. Maybe the wind played a role on the tee-shot on 14, but other than that, this is short game and putting. Putting can of course be affected by wind too, but still.

I missed Sectionals by 2 strokes this year.  I summarized my round here, if you or anyone is interested. June 4th is the day for Sectional Qualifying this year.  I'm not sure how many of the 500

TV Must be better in your area.  Golf Channel has their "Live from the U.S. Open" and FS1 (which had the round yesterday) has something unrelated.

The scores will probably be lower today, but if the cut line went to +5 yesterday, for it to go to +3 today the field would have to shoot 7 shots better, and that's not happening. If today becomes a day with still struggling players, but less so, maybe a cut line around +8.
