When I'm on the range I try to take a minute or two in between my shots and switch up clubs, unless I am specifically working on something. This way it's more similar to how you would actually play on the course. It's easier to get it the groove at the range when you're making the same swing one after another because you can just copy feel.
As far as your swing issue it's difficult to determine without a video, but when things for me I like to slow my swing a bit and take a slightly shorter backswing.
My Junior year of high school towards the end of the golf season I got the shanks. I remember playing in two tournaments and coming in with scores over 100 as a 2 seed haha. Everything I would try would just end up making it worse. Still have nightmares about those days!
I appreciate the reply!
I will definitely work on effectively clearing the hips!
I grabbed a clip of a different swing where my impact/follow-through looks much better and it seems like my left knee does extend there. Is this similar to what I would want to see?
I took a screenshot of both swings to compare and the more I look at them side by side, it almost looks like the swing where I get some extension in the knee (right), my hips are even less cleared than the swing where I don't have any extension (left). However, it does look like my right wrist is in a slightly better position on the right. Or maybe it's due to angles being slightly different.
