It actually looks like the same thing at half the price, just no desktop OS interface. That’s from a quick look though.

Here's a checklist:

What is HackMotion Full System?

HackMotion Full System is for advanced PGA professionals looking for detailed wrist motion analysis.

What is the difference?

In addition to LITE features full system provides detailed wrist motion graphs throughout the swing, 3D replays, ability to overlay swing data for benchmarking as well as Windows software version and more.

Wonder who made the decision on the product name?

I'm reviving this topic as I have a pair of new HackMotion coming to me.

They no longer have what is now the Pro and the Lite, it's now the Pro and the Player models. The Player model does a bit less, and the Pro model is 30% smaller.

I'm going to use it in my own swing work, too. I still think it'll be pretty cool to use in putting.

I think Erik or somebody else posted this in another thread (hence how I know about it), but no one has posted this to this thread yet, so I'll accompany the above with the corresponding article:

A few months back I decided to go towards the classic turndown release in my swing (Option A in Cowx’s 3 tour wrist patterns and the one that both Tiger and Fairway Jesus use).

So that makes me especially excited to hear more about these sensors… wonder how training with them as a player will be.

My guess is these will be great for periodic checkups… but overkill for daily practice.

Maybe. I think the thing is… I can put them on, and just measure every swing if I want, or ignore it if I want, and turn on and off the biofeedback (the angels singing tones).

Plus, as you know (I think), my wrist conditions are a big part of what I'm working on.

Now that you say it… If the biofeedback is anywhere near as good as the deWiz I’m going to be ordering one of these for sure.

Got the pro version in the mail today, 30 days after ordering it. It's a long term investment as my priority isn't really the wrist angles right now (tho they clearly need work sooner or later).

Kinda tricky to calibrate perfectly, but I'll probably figure it out. I like that this works with just air swings as I do mirror work pretty much everyday. First observation is something I already knew which is I don't have enough lead wrist bowing in the downswing.

Love my mevo+, my LiveView camera, my PRGR Black and my Stack speed trainer. All my product buys these last 2+ years have been great and valuable to my development, and I hope this one is no different. Just ten minutes in and I can very easily see the long term value for me.

Going with Option A, Knuckles Down Release Pattern. We'll see how things go.

    • Day 11: did mirror work for a while. Worked on the same stuff.
    • I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.
    • Day 115 12-5 Skills work tonight. Mostly just trying to be more aware of the shaft and where it's at. Hit foam golf balls.
    • Day 25 (5 Dec 25) - total rain day, worked on tempo and distance control.
    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
