New Shafts

I used to use those exact shafts (TT Lite in regular flex) in a set of PING EYE 2 irons. I liked the feel of them when I was growing up and they felt much less boardy at the time than the x-flex ZZ Lite shafts that came installed in the irons from the factory. I personally am a fan of the KBS Tour and Project X shafts more now, and I like heavier iron shafts in general, but True Temper still makes some solid product offerings.

Your best bet is to see if you can get fit for a golf shaft at either a retailer or a professional fitter (at least getting the Mizuno Shaft Optimizer recommendations) and then hunting around for a used set of shafts online to get a bargain.

Just buy one shaft and install in one of your favorite clubs, say 7 iron and take it out to the course. Trying different shafts in different heads won't give you the best info on what the new shaft is doing. Although it may make you decide to just buy new irons all together.

Are you planning on doing the install yourself?  If you're thinking about having a shop do it, it may be best just to get new irons.  Otherwise you'll spend a few more times what your clubs are worth when it's all said and done.  Plus then a fitting would be included.
