I think if you wanted to continue actual discussions on making this viable, you'd have to first address how to get the USGA to lighten up their rules on amateur vs pro status and the prizes you're allowed to win, which if I'm reading correctly, is only $750.
Without that rule change, other conversations are pointless. I'd love to see bigger amateur events, but it just won't happen because as others have pointed out, the rules don't allow it.
When some do not have a appropriate reply they fall back on their crutch playing the race card, that's sad.
Someone's putting words into my mouth again. I never said Asians shouldn't play the LPGA. What I said was I'm not gona watch the LPGA when all they show is Asians players, I want to at least see some fan favorite players even if they are not playing well. That's what the PGA does.
It gets old reading post where other twists my words.
I would love if the ladies only showed the physical types I'm attracted to. And they have to play well. And interview well.
But, sadly, that's not how the world works.....
Best to just enjoy the sport, it's much simpler.
Not emphatic enough. You need to make the point and repeat it so that it is clear.
Also, "huge" is too small a word. Replace it with something that implies ( or, better, makes it COMPLETELY clear )that nothing could be more huge.
