Just what I need.  An unconventional putting technique from a bogey golfer who admits to being a dreadful putter!

Sign me up!  :-)

I have already said that the site software won't accept the video taken on my phone. I find this strange as it is the most common format. You are missing the point, I WAS a dreadful putter, but now quite reasonable. In fact, after just joining my new club I have been complimented on this part of my game. This is something that has never happened before. I have also said, if you are already a good putter, take no notice  of this thread. As you may well know, in golf what works for one person doesn't for another. My thread is for those people who are presently struggling with putting and looking for an answer. It has worked for me, so I see no reason why it shouldn't help someone else. Forgive me if I am wrong, but I thought a forum was for this purpose ?

You placed a video on the other thread you started "what mobile phone do you use"
Basically, upload your Putting video on You Tube. Then you can "Link videos to this site.

There are instructions in the "How To" tab on the home page of this site.

Without a video of the technic you are describing, many members will be less interested in any further discussion.
This site is the best golf discussion and members here are very receptive for new ideas.

Forgive my failed tongue-in-cheek attempt at humor.  If it works for you, there’s nothing wrong with it!    FWI, If you upload your video to YouTube, you’ll be able to embed it here.

Most people will likely still be better served by tried and true fundamentals, but you only need to look at my golf swing to know that there are different ways to get to a desired result!

We don’t accept videos of any kind really. So again please upload it to YouTube.

keep your  arms absolutely still, and instead of moving your arms to hit the ball, move your hips and keep your arms still.

Thanks for the tip. Should I attach the putter to the hips?

I don't think "anchoring" to the hips would be allowed...

But knowing you, you can certainly give it a go....

Might even improve your game there Mate as the OP suggested...
