I kind of want that and don't want it at the same time.
I read that the good simulators cost around $30,000 and that's without installation and sensor tuning costs.
I'd rather spend that on traveling to play at some amazing courses.
Mine is official and as current as possible. The course I play is on winter rules and GHIN won't accept new scores from me on that course. Fortunately (or unfortunately ) I haven't shot better than my abysmal handicap since the course went winter so new scores wouldn't change it.
Ha! Trying to stick a frozen green is definitely not fun. The thing you didn't mention was trying to get a tee into the frozen ground. We played in 28 degree weather and had to use a steel awl to punch a hole for the tee.
That’s not what I meant. I’m saying I’d like to see a guy or a group of guys who have the same things going on you mentioned but are actually making an educated attempt to become scratch. A + 3 is already better than scratch. The humor and other antics can still be there but with real practice and an actually productive attempt to improve. Watching people clown around and have no chance to improve is what I’m saying is old. Watching entertaining guys actually making real progress to the goal is what I would be tuning in for is what I’m saying. To each their own of course.
