I started using a new pre-round routine yesterday off of a you tube video. Basically the putting steps are like this:
3 putts from 3 feet
3 putts from 10 feet below the a hole
3 putts from 10 feet above a hole
3 putts from 20 feet below a hole
3 putts from 20 feel above a hole
3 putts from each side of a hole from 10 feet
I felt like my distance control was better than it has been lately.
After watching these videos and some other golfers, I feel like I have an issue at the top of my swing with my wrist action and shaft angle. It seems like I’m not breaking my wrists enough or in the proper direction.
any thoughts on that?
Recorded my first round of the year in the sheet...had six pars (6, 9, 10, 15, 17, 18).
Even though I've sort of nerfed the challenge (pars and with no home course), I think it will be kind of fun. I'm curious to see how many birdies I end up with this year, and to see if there is a hole or two that even proves difficult for the par challenge, since I've never really tracked this kind of thing.
