  1. OK, here goes. I like the feeling of width this drill provides.

  2. I have my USGA handicap through my state association, which uses GHIN. GHIN has recently changed their log-on procedures, you'll need to set up a profile. Once you've done that, you'll log in using your email and your newly established password. I'm guessing they made this change to increase the security of your account. Previously, anyone who knew your GHIN number and your last name could post scores to your record. Go to https://www.ghin.com/create-profile to get set up.

  3. Once again, as mentioned on the “How many rounds have you played 2020 thread,” I hate you 😉 Are you kidding me, that’s a gimme

  4. Did you renew through a FSGA member club?

  5. Along with what DaveP043 indicated I would suggest checking your email if you were a previous GHIN member as they did send out an email with a link to login and set up your password. It may be in your SPAM or JUNK folder.

  6. Two reasons. Tour players might complain it’s too difficult. The Presidents Cup is better players generally. Soil and weather won’t allow firm/fast in most courses. Bonus: they might not think brown looks as good on TV.

  8. My speeds are actually slowing down. It’s a little discouraging, but I’m feeling stronger, and I’m not as winded after doing the set. I’ve been continuing to do the same set. My opposite side swings are feeling better and approaching the same speed as my normal side. Maybe I’m going through the motions instead of really going all out. Or maybe the radar isn’t registering accurate readings every time. I’ll stick with it though, and hope to see it trending up next time.

  10. There are so few public courses in Naples, but I did play one a few years back and it was an enjoyable round of golf. Although not exactly in Naples, but it's close, near North Naples. Bonita Fairways (Bonita Springs Public Golf Club) Home - Bonita Fairways Golf Club This guy has some good info on courses. Public Golf Courses - Naples Golf Homes | Naples Golf Guy Public Golf Courses located in Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and Fort Myers Florida. There are a little over 15 public golf courses in all of Southwest FL.

  13. Been working hard last couple months (a lot because I love doing it a little because there is literally just nothing else to do). I have been working on my balance no more rolling over my back foot, my swing plane which had become too under plane believe it or not, I got a launch monitor and have been working on dialing in wedge distance which I had never done before and the confidence it's instilled on approach shots is incredible, still trying to find my wood setup I think I am close but man do I still struggle feeling comfortable over the ball with a wood in my hand, the yips are real. If I

  15. The lousy use of statistics really doesn’t do it for me, though. His solution is basically: Taller rough. Taller fairways. Slower greens. Meh. I think the “solution” is that fairways and greens should be firmer. Like the Presidents Cup in Australia. Distance was less important there, and you still had to play really good golf. You had to control where you landed the ball, the spin, etc. You had to play from the fairways more so, and sometimes the angle mattered because the ball could roll. But this faces the same problem the pro-rollback people have: the PGA Tou

  17. Didn’t get around to doing this on Christmas when it was in the 50’s out, so naturally it was in the 30’s when I got around to it today.

  20. Yeah, Matt, you maybe could have started coasting a little earlier, maybe. Like given! (per the rules, folks!) Here's my attempt. I'm pretty happy with this. Good here: And good here, IMO: This is a good drill for just about everyone.

  21. Here is my attempt. What I notice the most is my A6 position has my hands further in my right thigh, so a bit more lag.

  24. Oh boy. Where's the proof? The weight does shift back and then forward during the golf swing. The game's best players do this. The pressure shifts even more, and the weight shift on the backswing is not as great as some people think, but it's still there. On the "random new guy pitches an earth-shattering, never-heard-or-seen-before swing thing" scale, which goes from albatross to triple bogey, I'll give you a bogey. You gained points for: "All of golf instruction is bad but I have the secret" vibes. Outrageous but unproven claims. Citing somethin

    • I grew up 30 min from the stadium and would go to 10+ games per year every year as a kid, have been on the field, the locker rooms, offices, etc, have been to numerous playoff games including game 7 of the 2016 World Series. They've been my favorite team my entire life. All that being said, I understand the name change and don't have a problem with them changing the name. Some of the reactions I've been seeing on social media have been ridiculous. The team being called a different name changes very little about the actual team IMO. Given the choice between the Guardians and the Spiders though, I'd probably choose Spiders, just a personal preference. I will say though that I'm not a fan of the logo. I'm not artistic in the slightest but I feel that they could have come up with a better logo than what they did. Hopefully it evolves over time into something better.
    • Much better than Washington Football Team!
    • Same for me on past 3 rounds on my Classic. They said to email them log files but there was no data in the files.  I am awaiting @DaveP043review on GG Pro as that is my next option.
    • It’s not valuable. It’s expected. News flash: the sun will most likely rise in the east today. Vaccines don’t really ever have “long term effects except continuing to protect you. We understand immune response pretty well and you have none of the vaccine in your body after a short while.
