  1. Anyone Getting an iPhone?

I am pretty excited about the update. My wife and I plan on upgrading on 11 July. I just wish AT&T; would upgrade their network.
  2. New love of my life.... 64° wedge!

I wasn't directing my comment towards you SubPar. I have wanted to mess around with a 64 for a while but haven't gotten around to it, because of other things. More power to you! Glad you are enjoying it, and I appreciate the thread. My comment was directed towards young gun which is why I quoted him. It looked to me like he was jumping all over iacas' shit for no reason. In this thread and in at least one more that i had read that day. Not that he needs me to defend him but I didn't it was called for.
  3. Anyone Getting an iPhone?

My wife and I both have iPhones. We have had them since a week after release. Perhaps you are confusing the number of phones you can have with the limit you could buy at once? I believe they were limiting the actual purchase number at one point. As in you couldn't walk in and buy 15 iPhones at once. But I can't remember for sure. Either way, I can guarantee you can walk into anyplace they are sold and buy one for you and your wife today. Or wait a few weeks until WWDC. That is a better idea.
  4. XBOX 360 vs. PS3

If the only reason you are trading is for Blu-ray, I would just wait until MS releases the Blu-ray player for the 360. No it isn't officially announced but it is coming. I have both. I like the controller, the interface, and the online community much better on the 360. I like the quietness of the PS3 and the 7.1 audio output. Both machines have exclusive games that make it tough to decide, although that is not as big an issue as it used to be. If I had to choose one I would probably stick with the 360 because I have more friends on that system, but it would be a tough choice.
  5. Do we have any hunters in here?

Talk about comparing apples and oranges.
  6. Callaway X-18 Price?

That comes out to about $612 American dollars. You can by the same clubs on Golf Galaxy's website (in the states) for $499 and get the X-20s for $699 if that helps you at all.
  7. Nevada Bobs Trade In?

I don't know if they will or not but in my experience it is almost always better to try to sell outright then trade. You probably know that, but I thought I would pass it along anyway.
  8. Bushnell Medalist vs. Pinseeker 1500

Golfsmith let me take all of them outside to test them. I agree with Erik on this one, the extra magnification is well worth it.
  9. iMac?

We have one next door in the Computer Showcase. I have played around with it for a while. What a great machine! You can't beat the form factor. I think you will love it. Although I am not a big fan of Apple mice, even the newest one. I would get a good Logitech mouse. Other then that, what's not to love? OS X and Windows on the same machine? Great looks? A space saving machine? I don't see the downside
  10. Playing A Round By Yourself

I love to play alone. About as much as playing with some one.
  11. Grip Cleaning

How many rounds have you played in the year you have had them? I believe the common recommendation is to re-grip once a year if you play often. I would wash one up and see if it helps.
  12. too many clubs

I would say it really depends on the type of course you play. I would say 5 wood (sorry Dent). I can't remember for certain, and I don't have my book with me, but I think Dave Pelz suggests getting rid of your 6 iron. But I would have to double check that.
  13. anyone play x-20 tour callaways

I would think most people would suggest a forged club at your level. My advice would be go to a good golf store and hit everything. Make an afternoon out of it. I am not saying that they aren't great clubs. Maybe they would be what you are looking for. Although I see most people of your ability with even more of a players club.
  14. anyone play x-20 tour callaways

I got mine a little less then 2 months ago. I bought them as a set of irons to grow into. So far I love them. I get much more feedback then I did from my G2s on miss hits and I love the Rifle shafts. Looking at your handicap, they might not be enough club for you though.
