  1. I forget about Farmstead and I live 5 minutes from there. I just hardly ever play it. Definitely a lot of choices in Northern NJ. I would also suggest Great Bear in East Stroudsburg on the way to NJ or on the way home.
  2. Would definitely suggest Ballyowen and Crystal Springs. If you're making the way up to Sussex County for those two, Skyview in Sparta is a nice course as well.
  3. My advice is to get there early and roam the course. The last one I went to was the Saturday round of The Barclays at Bethpage Black a few years ago and we got there early and followed Lee Westwood for a while. He was in a great mood chatted with the fans and there wasn't a big following. Followed him for a bit then sat down on the 5th green in the early afternoon when there wasn't yet a crowd and watched everyone come through, including Tiger. While everyone who was following him couldn't get close to the green, I was right on the ropes and only a few feet away from him.
  4. What state are you in? Here in New Jersey Golf is a spring sport where football is in the fall. I just assumed it was the same way across the country.
  5. The most i ever did in a row was 213. Cut off the top of the index finger on my left hand and was out of work for a month. couldn't use the hand so i learned to do that with the other. It was a long month.
  6. Been trying for years to get my brother into the game. Hopefully this is the year it happens. He is already registered to play in a May outing with me so hopefully it sticks.
  7. I'll pay as soon at i get home from work. I know its not deadline, but sorry for the delay.
  8. awesome. thanks for your work on this.
  9. Sounds like you don't like what you are hearing. My advice is to listen to your golf pro, not a bunch of anonymous guys on the internet. There are a lot of people here that know a lot about the game, but we don't know about your game. Stick with it and follow the advice of your pro. It will work out.
  10. The course that I play the most requests that we turn the keys in following the round.
  11. Just saw I posted this in here. My how far I have come.
