Anyone here from the LA area? What tracks are you playing here?

I tend to use my 54* wedge for most shots. For pitch and run type shots I will play a 60* lob. For bump and runs a 7 or 8i.

My pack of V1X are getting low. Perhaps I will give some TP Blacks a try. My swing has changed quite a bit since I got this pack of V1x, I am launching much lower than usual. Can't help but think a nice high launching ball might squeeze a few more yards out of the driver and woods.

Custom shop was the best experiance I have ever had, you should see what my putter looked like before they fixed it. It looks like a work of art now. You pay the premium to get a premium service.

$265,000 intiation fee? Thats ****ing insane.

Sounds expensive. If you have alot of paper to throw around I guess its a good idea.

I would only do it with friends that dont mind it, otherwise it is very unsportsmanlike.

People that exagerate their driver distance. I always love when someone tells me they hit 300 yard drives and they are barely getting past my drives. I average a measly 250 off the tee and I am longer than most anyone I have ever been partnered with. In my mind I know you are NOT hitting 300 yard drives and my laser rangefinder proves it. I always love when people claim my laser range is "wrong" or "how accurate is that thing it cant be right". My Bushnell was the best investment I have ever made.

If I swing hard with my Orlimar Hybrid it hooks like hell.

No way, my game is in tip top shape right now. Now I am back in college I have people to play with!

Well I went out today and shot an 82 43-39 and beat a buddy of mine by 1 stroke. I lost my putter today apparently because i missed everything today. I hit 5 GIR in a row to start the back nine and didnt have a single birdie. My driver really cooled off today as well, felt like I was playing like utter crap yet still a low 80's score. Glad to see this wasnt a fluke and I really am just getting better.

My 100 handicap scramble team won with a -8 64. I think its a great score considering how high handicap we all were, all the teams were setup so that each one had a total of 100 handicap. Needless to say we won by 1 stroke :)

Well I took this puppy out today and the results were great. No OB, only 1 stroke of penalty on drives for hitting into a lake lining the left side of one fairway. On the par 5's I hit a 8i, 6i, 3H for my second shots! Shot the best score of my life with a 79 :)

I've played in pouring rain before.

I set a goal to break 80 before the end of the summer. Well 3 days before school starts I did it, on a course which my best score is a 89 before this! It is a short shot makers type course I always mess up, today I played smart golf all day and it paid off. The course has some nasty greens with fast false fronts, and a bunch of OB to the slice side.The putter was on fire too, not a single miss inside 10 ft. The first time I played this course I shot a 101 and my buddy who normally shoots in the 70's shot a 97. note: the card looks like a 5 for #13 but my buddy marked it wrong.

I dunno if you can really call a 13.5* a driver, its more of a 3W that is 460CC. They work well if you have a slower swing speed or have a more attacking swing that reduces loft.

Well you cant juice the monitor when I was comparing it directly to my current driver. It was VERY accurate at modeling my Burners ballflight. Plus I compared the two on the range afterwards and in a golfing situation the Mizuno is hands down better for me. My first drive with it on the course was the longest drive I have ever hit on that particular hole.

HATE IT HATE IT. Worst putter I have ever used in that price range. No feedback, no sightline, no speed control. Might be good if you have the nervous twitches or have alot of bulk.

Its all about whats right for your swing. Some nationwide tour players use a 12* driver.

Just ditched my TM burner for this club. Sold my TM burner to my buddy for $160. Launch monitor results: Ball Speed Max: 169 Ball Speed Ave: 163 Max Drive: 283 Max Carry: 270 Ave Drive: 259 Ave Carry: 248 Spread: 25 yrds Play tested for 2 holes, both drives strait and long. I get very little sidespin from this driver, love the 45" shaft. Dont hesitate to give this puppy a test drive if you are in the market. My setup: 9.5* Stiff Flex Golf Pride New Decade - Blue

I like the Ignite, has a real respectable amound of spin off the short irons. The Hot is a fine ball, but impossible to spin.
