I am a strict proponent of playing what works for you regarless of brand. Look at my bag, can't get more diverse than that!

I never play from the tips if its my choice, I will if my playing partners are. I played from the Tiger tees att my universities course one time and shot a 100, I was playing horribly that day though. It is 6,911 from the tips, none of this whimpy stuff. The shortest Par 3 is 178 yrds, the others are 192, 221,213. The longest par 4 is 460 yards, with an approach shot over water. Hardest hole I have ever played, the best I have managed so far is a bogey.

I just cant seem to catcha high tee consistantly I tend to use a combo, halfway between high and mid so that about 1/4 of the ball is below the crest of the driver. If I tee it higher I tend to really risk have a horrible skyed ball.

I jealous of all you guys that have the time/money to play golf more than once a week. :'( I was a ~20 for like 7 years (14-17), then quit till I was 19.5, now I am a ~13 1.5 yrs later. I am just so damn inconsistant its not even funny. Hopefully when I get back to college I will be able to make some strides in my game since I'll be having group lessons once a week and hopefully play once a week.

Sandbagging is playing bad in the regular season on purpose to lift your average/handicap then come tornament time you golf for real.

I have the same swing speed specs as you and I play a R burner 10.5* I would recommend trying on a launch monitor before buying, it's the only way to know what is best for you! BTW there is no way in hell you should be playing a X shaft, it will only serve to exascerbate the problems you are having off the tee.

A course nearby only offers "spring water" in unmarked 12 oz bottles, they charge $1. All they do is fill up bottles with tap water and voila $1 richer.

Not offering water on a golf course is just another way to screw us out of more money. Also, in many states it is required by law that service establishments supply water free of charge.

I guess they can contemplate that chance when you realize that on your daily commute to the golf course they have a 1 in 1300 chance of being involved in a fatal car accident in a years time. Or wait for themselves to be struck by lightening first. :P

Lets see here: There are 17,000 golf courses in the US. Lets say that the average golf course has 2 water coolers (way conservative). In your stories 3 water coolers were contaminated. That is 1 in 5600 water coolers in an entire year. One cooler led to a wrongfull death, this was one cooler, one day. Sample Space: 17000*365 Contaminated: 1 That is a 1 in 6,205,000 chance of death by water cooler. The probability of being struck by lightning is 1 in 6,000,000. Fearfull of the water cooler still? Time to cry chicken little yet?

Theres a reason he isnt soaked in sweat. He is dehydrated, and combined with a lack of sweat he is just asking to have a heat stroke.

You cant use X-outs in competative play because they are not guranteed to be within spec. The practice HX tours however are fine, they only retain cosmetic blemishes.

I just recently switch from graphite back to steel because I was overswinging with the graphites. They are really awesome though for reducing vibrations and helping with distance!

I hate it if a course does not have water. Too hot here not to offer it.

I almost bought a CG12 because they give an exceptable amount of spin from the rough and they dont tear up golf balls. I got a Callaway X-tour and it is a great club. My Sakamoto spins a good bit more though.
