  1. Is there any way someone could just tell me what loft to get to replace my 3 iron... 19* or 22*?
  2. My bag is something like 4 lbs (very light), and has all the space I need. Easy to carry around at range, and walking 18 holes, but also sufficient enough to put on a cart.
  3. They sure are, I can't wait to get a 60* to go with my 54*. I just gotta wait for the right deal on ebay. I'm a leftie, so there aren't as many auctions.
  4. Great! I have the Vokey one as my Desktop now
  5. 905R 10.5* 906F4 15* 503.H 19* 775.CB 4-GW Vokey SM Oil-Can 54*, 60* Circa 62 No. 2 Pro v1
  6. Old thread, but I'm thinking of purchasing a used 503.H. Does the club work for higher handicappers (though mine is lowering)? How does it play out of the rough? Will I notice much of a difference between graphite and steel shaft? Which loft would you recomend to possibly replace my 3 iron?

    Do you dip?

I dip Citrus Skoal when i play. I find it relaxing.
  8. I use DT SoLO's but I prefer Pro V1's. But until I can consistently shoot in the 80's, I don't think there is a point of spending that extra money. I do get happy though when I find a Pro v1.
  9. When I get my handicap below 18, I think I just may treat myself to the 775's. They look and play awsome!
  10. If I had the money to spend, I would keep the PW, then get 50-52*, 54-56*, 58-60* wedges
  11. 1. Adam Scott Young, stylish, Unreal talent, he'll be one of the best I know it. 2. Mike Weir In kind of a slump, but he can do it and he's a Canadian Lefty. 3. Tiger Woods He's Tiger Woods! 4. Zach Johnson Mellow guy, good player, won the jacket this year.
  12. 215 is probably my average. I'll have one or two 275's per round, but also some 180's .
  13. I find it funny when some drunken a-hole yells "get in the hole!". I'm new to the game though, and I'm sure I'll be annoyed after a while .

Well, I've seen Patty Kane, and Akim Aliu (2007 1/3 draft picks) play multiple times and they are sick, so things may be looking up.
  17. Almost all of my hockey equipment is Nike, and I have worn Nike running shoes for years. For some reason though, I'm not crazy about Nike golf stuff.
  18. Balls that have a company or event logo on them, and were never used. I'm pretty sure ...
  19. Recycled Balls are also a good way to go. At your local golf shop, they may have balls that have been "Previously Enjoyed". If you can indeed tell the difference between a low and high quality ball, you can save lots of money if you don't mind a small grass stain or ink mark.
  20. I'm not sure but wouldn't it be better to use the same ball for practice and for games so you get a feel of spin, compression etc.? If you practice with a drop and stop type ball on the practice green, and then go out and play a game with a low compression distance type ball, you won't have the same results and familiar feel. Am I right?
  21. My brother has a Titleist Dead Centre putter, not sure of the model.
  22. I'm no where even near the calibre of golfer you are, but I know that if I can stay focused on my shots, and get the deamons out of my head, that at least a few stupid mistakes could be taken care of.
  23. I am a beginner golfer, and I am pretty bad. I am young, and sold my guitar so I could buy some clubs. I decided golf was something I really liked and I wanted to get into it, so I found some great deals on ebay, and saved myself a fortune. I agree that it is the golfer, and not the golf clubs (for the most part anyways), but if you have the money, and you really want to get into the game, why not go out and get some good gear.
  24. I am not set on one company, but for the most part I like TaylorMade Drivers and woods, and Titleist Irons, Weges, Putters, Balls.
  25. Well, if you were ever practicing your swing and didn't want to be seen in the woods, that is the bag to have.
