  1. Actually he did say that Harrington played better than him and deserved it. Sergio played great but someone else played better and there's not much more to it. You fail.
  2. I recommend reading both Utley's and Pelz books. In my opinion Utley's style of putting is the way to go. But other than the actual stroke technique, I learned a lot from Pelz book about how to read greens and pre shot routine etc.
  3. I'm more bothered with guys who wear WAY to big clothes to be honest. Like Woody for example.
  4. I think it's good to rest at least once every two weeks. I had a period last year where I practiced every day for a long while without resting and I couldn't even swing my club after a while.
  5. Most confident with the putter, it can't go out of bounds, j/k :P But the most fun is probably to rip it with the driver.
  6. I once hit some guys ball into the woods after it landed at my feet without hearing a four. Needless to say I had one of the shittiest rounds ever. And it felt damn good when I did it.
  7. I'm happy when I don't do things like 3 putts or hit the driver right into the woods and stuff like that. If I keep the ball in play for a whole round and don't screw up on the greens basically.
  8. Check out this thread at HFBoards: http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=521403 People are making sick comments about golf as a sport and the thread ends up getting locked. What have you done Tiger? There's now a war between hockey fans and golf fans.
  9. Are you sure he just didn't repress his first tee shot so much that he forgot about it for a moment? I usually do that. I sometimes walk off a green and think to myself "yaaay birdie... oh wait... no it wasn't".
  10. I agree. I myself only thought about the fact that Tiger is black, the first time I saw him. Now I've just forgot about it, and who cares anyway...
  11. What if you have a check tattooed on your arm? can it only be used once even if it's not being destroyed?
  12. Obviously a cheater. That's just an outrageous claim.
  13. Hmm, that's not true. It's always better to play the perfect speed with the perfect break. If you're gonna play more break then what's necessary, you'll have to put less speed on it. And if you're gonna play more speed than what's necessary, you'll have to play less break for it to have a chance to go in the hole, or get close. It probably helped you to think "play more break" because it's known that pretty much everyone always play too little break and the subconsciousness makes you pull it or push it closer to the actual break.
  14. I can compare this easily with my game. I have about the same Driving acc. % and twice as good GIR %. And the putts per round is about the same. But here's the interesting thing, I get it up and down about 60% of the times that I missed the green and you've got 0%. I shoot arround 68-78. So if you just improve GIR % a little bit and your scrambling by alot , you'll be able to shoot really low.
  15. Hmm... that makes sense. I was doing this with my normal swing at about 80% of my power. And I certainly don't hit 410 yards.
  16. Wow, are you guys for real? I thought avarage was atleast over 130. When I tested my swing speed a couple of weeks ago the guy told me I had an enormous swing speed. But I thought he was just kidding or exaggerating, because his was about 145 or something. And mine was 157-167. It went about 270 yards. But he told me I hit down on the ball too much and get way too much spin on the ball to be able to hit long drives. If I start hitting the ball on the way up, he told me, I was going to get some real long distances.
  17. I think it's a good idea. I usually go arround nuning on a song. Might aswell listen to music.
  18. I shot a 70 today. 26 putts : )
  19. 1st on the fairway 2nd in the water drop 3 sink the pitch from 50 yards or something
  20. I've read the book and seen the movie. As always, the book is better. But if you've already seen the movie, it might not be worth it. I dunno.
