  1. That's Chase Duncan out at NCstate he smashes the ball for his size. Thats him swinging easy and he's like 125lbs or something
  2. I hit the ball a decent ways around mid 160s ballspeed and I can get it to 170s if I go all out but, I'm not the longest by far from some of the guys I play with around here. I'm longer than most of my normal playing partners but, in CGA events where I go against college players or some other taller players I'm left in the dust. Last week I played with a guy in his early 50s and he had me by 10-20 yards every drive. 220 average for male golfers is short I haven't played with anyone decent that hits it that short around here but, if you average the shots that go OB or into a hazard then maybe.
  3. You really need to pay attention to where you set the camera up as well when you video. Changing the angle can make the swing plane look way different
  4. I assume the black ones are for the driver, 3w, 5w, hybrid. The irons and putter go along the edge and the one big gap at the bottom is for your wedges.
  5. I've witnessed many people go broke and blow their inheritance chasing this dream and they were miles better than you. One decent college kid I remember played on the egolf tour here. His father had passed and left him 250k. He chased the dream for 2 years but, after paying entry fees upwards of 2k per event , membership fees, bills, rent ect... He went home making nothing off those tours and broke. I've had other friends thinking that shooting even par they can somehow make a living out there. They get a reality check when they go to monday qualify and their -2 isn't even in top 20 and -8 goes into playoffs. The courses these guys are playing are so much harder than what you are currently playing as well. The course setups and lengths they play on the pga tour are in the 78-80 ratings with maxed out slope. These mini tour guys when the play 7200 75 rated courses around here absolutely destroy them. I'm talking mid -20s under for 3 days to crack the top 5. Another recent example is a young pro who I know who is famous for qualifying for the us 4 ball on his own. His partner bailed on him last minute and wasn't allowed a replacement. He shot a 63 to qualify against alot of scratch golfers playing best ball against him. Same kid I watched shoot 63 from 7500 yards with a 78 rating in 25mph wind in hawaii on the course they qualify for the sony at. He missed web.com qualifying this year and is struggling to survive playing small mini tour events. I guess what I'm saying is it's cool to chase a dream but, you have to be reasonable and not delusional. I could practice 12 hours a day every day and I'm not going to play in the NBA it's just not going to happen.
  6. Maybe back in the balata ball days or something but, tiger hits 9 iron alot longer than 142 now with same old lofts.
  7. If you are a veteran or emergency responder you can get 50% off right now for Gen1 irons. They come out cheaper than pretty much any other top of the line brand I almost bought a backup set.
  8. just read the last few pages but, have you played with having a little more flying right elbow so your shoulder isn't already so externally rotated that you can't rotate it more on the downswing to shallow it? When that right shoulder and elbow is so tight it's sorta hard not to tip it even dufner tips it some coming down
  9. I play it on the simulator alot closest I"ll ever get
  10. There are a few decent courses near by nothing outstanding that I can remember. If you are willing to drive an hour Cutter Creek north of there is a hidden jewel in NC. It's one of the best conditioned courses in the state and great layout along with cheap tee times.
  11. 18 holes of trackman isn't cheap I wonder how much Amanda Balionis charges per hole
  12. Callaway epic 3 wood probably won't get to use it for a while though pretty cold here.
  13. No sixes today even round 72. Couldn't get any putts to fall. Only birdied one par5 and had one other birdie on a hard par4. Pretty boring round of golf considering I've been battling some hooks. It all comes down to me and my tee shot if I get it in play I can play a decent round.
  14. Anthony Kim is one of the biggest wastes of talent I can remember.
  15. I've had a few cheaper nets in the garage before and lost a few windows cause of them. I bought the net return home version once we moved since I needed a smaller version for inside. It's been great although I did have 2 holes starting to develop in the net. I emailed their support and they sent me out a new net no questions asked. So can't say enough good things about that they stand behind their product. They also have an option to extend the sides of their nets if you are afraid of shanking one
  16. 15 for me NC, SC, MD, VA, TX, FL, GA, TN, KY, HI, CA, NV AZ, MS, NJ,
  17. Hole in one details was at the Neuse country club uphill par3. Had 165 and hit 8 iron it hit right before flag released and disappeared. Had 3 of my friends there and we had literally just talked about we have never had a hole in one in our group. Cool thing is my buddy had one 2 months later and I was there to see it as well. Roger on the posting...
  18. I've broken par alot. Plenty of eagles. Hole in one last year at the Neuse country club hit 8 iron from 165 and got to see it go in. Albatross this year at pinewild. Had 222 to a front pin wasn't playing that great that day but, hit a 3 hybrid over a pine tree didn't get to see it go in but, once I got to the green my playing partner started yelling that it was in the hole. Pretty awesome and got it recorded in gamegolf. I've won a few CGA events but, nothing spectactular.
  19. I find it pretty easy honestly. I don't mix anything in either. I have a 32oz water bottle so 4 refills and I'm done. 1 - Drink during morning workout entire bottle. 2 - Drink another bottle between lunch 3 - Refill around lunch time and drink most during lunch then continue till Dinner. 4 - Drink most during dinner and finish before afternoon workout. I'll then usually drink another 32 oz bottle during that workout or after. I've never had an issue getting 4 and usually drink more.
  20. Well broke my big toe so this is my last swing for 4 weeks at least.
  21. Are the teams full yet? I've been traveling like a mad man the last few weeks for work and haven't gotten a chance to do the VLOG yet I don't even know how I'm going to do it honestly guess I can get a buddy to film me without giving me a rash of shit for it.
  22. Played it yesterday. It's launches very high with the driver compared to other balls and spins a little less than my normal callway soft. The thing is very soft though feels like a marshmellow off the face. I tested it on the Gc2 today and noticed on Driver it does launch a few degrees higher and spins around 300 more than the callaway. On irons it launches higher as well but, spins less. Not sure what I think about it so far it's almost to soft feeling for me.
