  1. more info here: http://www.taylormadegolf.com/produc...il.asp?pID=167 this is what i remember: 1) heavier weight on top - produce lower ball flight 2) heavier weight on heel - tend to draw 3) heavier weight on toe - tend to fade and i think the rules say you are not supposed to tinker with the weights during a round. have fun!
  2. sorry for the long-winded post : i played around with my friends' clubs and took lessons first . after 2-3 months, becoming somewhat comfortable with swinging irons, i bought an iron set first which had stiff shafts (currently still in use). then i proceeded to purchase a Cobra driver and 2 Nike hybrids which had regular shafts. from my signature, you can see that only 1 nike hybrid remains in my bag, which i hardly ever touch at all. fortunately for me, most of the clubs i bought were used. this is where my advice comes in: from personal experience, i would ask you to guess the type of golf swing that you desire to have and the swing speed that you will generate. although body types of individuals may vary, one can still make broad generalizations, especially given your current level. for example, you may observe how other golfers of your age/build swing their golf clubs. if you like their swing speed and style, ask them about their club specs. it would be best if you have a group of friends that you can observe, then you will have a better idea of their athletic abilities and personalities ect. i have been involved from many sports from soccer, tennis, volleyball, table-tennis and football. a skillful soccer playmaker like ronaldinho does not normally become an andy roddick of tennis, nor a cabrera of golf. in the end, nothing beats a full-scale custom fitting, provided you have already possessed a consistent golf swing. but for now, your best bet would be to guess your "desired" swing style and swing speed, and then demo as many clubs as possible that might match your swing. so if you envision yourself as an aggressive player, you might want to ignore flexible/graphite shafts. good luck!
  3. i have only seen fake x-20s. the thing that jumps out is the logo and letters on the head of the club. the fake one is relatively flat and looks like decal, while the real one has a 3-d look and does not feel flat to the touch. my x-14s are also from a 2nd hand shop so i wouldn't know if it originally came with serial numbers or not. if you hit them great, but they are fake, would you still purchase them? they might make good back-up clubs.
  4. i read somewhere on this forum that the "ideal" ball flight is a ball that ascends at a gradual pace, as opposed to a "u-shaped" shot whereby the ball ascends at a faster pace (reaching its highest point faster). can anyone tell me whether this "ideal" ball flight is exclusive only to blades, or can cavity backs produce a similar-looking shot? so far, the people i met on the range that produce this "ideal'" ball flight all use blades, and they also hit the ball further than me (my 7i is 140)

  6. get used to my superquad swing more inside so that i reduce unintentional fades/cuts/slices putt better score mid 90s before the year end i think i can do these, because finally i have the right set of clubs and the right set of knowledge for my current level
  7. just traded my cobra f speed r-flex for the superquad with a stiff shaft. demoed both the burner and superquad. it seems that the burner had too much draw for me, and i preferred the feel of the superquad better. i think it looks better too! needless to say, i am very happy with the superquad
  8. recently tested the Cobra FP Graphite + Steel, and X-20 Pro with Rifle shafts. personaly, i prefer the x-20s as the cobras had too much draw for me.
  9. sorry to hear that! i just had a similar experience: i almost dinged my brand new superquad while practicing on the shop's hitting mat, which was surrounded by concrete flooring. in the end, i scratched a part close to the hitting face . sigh, i'm sure your friend feels as bad, if not worse than me. if it was me, i would have offered to replace the club. good luck

i hate to say it but the holy grail of club football - the european champions league, has eluded theirry henry thus far he has, however, been crowned world and european champion with his country, france arguably, the most dominant player recently is his compatriot, zinedine zidane. the guy won almost everything
