  1. I play the older MP-30's that are very similar to the current MP-62's. Since you are wanting a iron that is going to challenge you to improve and is suitable for your current scoring ability I would suggest the MP-52's. If you want an iron that is not going to challenge you and make you improve even more take a look at the MX-200.
  2. I think he means a hard cut...
  3. I think I get more greif from playing not enought golf.
  4. "Take Dead Aim" The three most used words Thursday through Sunday on any tv channel.

  6. Zach Johnson
  7. I had a change to watch AK play locally at the USGA Public Links in 2006 when he took second and I just love his swing. AK after impact DBake after impact A little ways to go...
  8. +1, video has brought motion effeciently, i.e. power, rhythm, and consistency
  9. I completely agree and I would say all upper level atheltes would as well. If you can't repeat a motion consistently you need to find a different way to go about it.
  10. Don't forget to check your grip size. Also be sure that your irons are set at the standard lofts. I could not believe how much my irons were off when I got them in the loft and lie department!
  11. How about Miller comment when Tiger hit his third into the 16 green and ended up within 7 feet of the hole! We wouldn't have a need to yell at the TV if Miller wasn't on...I like him!
  12. Don't get stressed about the weather, this time year you can have rain, hail, and sun in the same 30 minutes. Good Luck!
  13. Do both! Play nine holes then hit the range or putting/chipping green right after. Rotate the nine holes every day, and work on different shots while on the course...use these as practice rounds. I would only play18 holes once every ten days and treat it as a evaluation of how well you are using your practice rounds and range/putting/chipping time. As August gets closer, begin playing 18 more and more focusing on course confidence. Golf is a Game of Confidence...isn't that a title of a book?
  14. The green on that hole is the stupidest thing I have ever seen....should make for interesting TV, along with 8, 9, 13, 15, 16.
  15. I have played a few times as well, the lates was late July. I know people who have been out there in the past few weeks and each of them said multiple greens have been partialy redone and fully redone. I also believe that they have are on there second or third superintendent. By all means I hope they don't take it away, I believe the Pacific Northwest should have a annual stop.
  16. Chambers Bay GC, home of the 2010 U.S. Amature and 2015 U.S. Open. I don't know if it is as hard as others around the U.S. but it is the toughest I have played....yet. I will be playing Kapalua's The Plantation Course and Bay course this September. Living 15 minutes from Chambers Bay, they better get their act together and get those greens right other wise the Open will be going eles where!
  17. Playing with a buddy and a guy. This guy had been playing Army golf all day long. On the 8th tee (down hill par three), shanks one of the tee that goes out of bounds 30 yards ahead of the tree. "F-this...F-that" walks over to his cart throws his club in his bag and sits in his cart as my buddy is getting ready to hit his tee. Just before my buddy start his down swing the guy, gas his cart and says f-this I'm going to the range! My buddy ended up shanking his tee shot as well....
  18. Tournament...yes...causal round...take it out and drop in general area
  19. mark and drop...if it rolls towards the green...redo....if it does it again...redo and then place it to the closest stop it droped on the third try
  20. Louisville
  21. In 2008, I practice way more than I play. This year I hope to use my time at the course by playing more and practicing less. 1. Play more than 30 rounds of golf 2. Focus on playing my home course and learning it 3. Shoot in the 80's at Kapalua on The Plantation Course and The Bay Course (September)
  22. How does it effect ball roll?
  23. I don't mind it when it is at there expense.
  24. Baseball grip for myself, grew up playing baseball just feels and works the best for me. I do putt left-hand low with a interlock for putting.
