I am the only one getting more and more annoyed with this guy Els.

I see this is not a question, but a statement. I think its true. Ernie Els deserves our respect.

@NatalieB is busy today packing for a trip so I’ll brag for her. She’s down to a 2.4, again almost entirely with “T” scores.

Well deserved bragging rights. Congrets 🚀

As a 7, I moved to Spain/Andalusia and it humbled me to 10-11. But I’m finally back to 9.5 now.

  3. When I started playing golf at hcp 36, an 18 handicapper was a golfing god to me. Definitly not a high handicapper anymore. A nice goal to try to get there. If you are able to reach that goal in 18 months, there is more to come.

At the moment your hcp is the average of the best 10 rounds out of the last 20 multiplied by .96

Wasn't there an English guy on here documenting his path to playing at a tour level?

That was @Nosevi he hasn’t been here since 2017. His gamegolf name is also Nosevi. But I don’t know how his adventure went. Think he has the same nice words for for @iacas as Erik has for him. 😀

I dont want argue about this at all, but if someone is stuck behind me they can come up and ask to play through, but where I play the Starter tell folks, "Dont rush others and be patient". I took that as okay I dont need to worry about who is behind me and I dont need to rush anyone in front of me if there playing slower than me.

Sorry, for the run on sentence.

@KrisF , I hope you are here to learn things (as opposed to trolling). When a starter says ‘don’t rush and be patient’ to you as a single player, it is because a one ball should be way faster than a 2,3 or 4 ball. Never in my life I have had to let through when playing as a one ball. A one ball should finish his round in 3 hours. The only reason why that would not work is because of other slower flights in front of you.

There are thousands of posts on this forum alone discussing slow play, how to fix it and how irritating it is. The rules were changed this year part of trying to make the game faster. So you stating you play in 5 hours or more as a single looks like trolling. If its not, you have a major problem with pace of play. Fix it!

Fowler is by far the best of the leading Americans in bad weather.

Nope, Fowler was +3 today, Finau level par, Koepka also +3, Reed was better, Justin Thomas also better.

Koepka is paired with Holmes tomorrow;  think he'll go to the restroom for five minutes in the first few holes to get them put on the clock?

Hope he does something like that on hole 2. With this kind of weather JB will step like Kevin Na in his worst nightmare.

No net division, its either you control your nerves and win, or do the opposite.

    Nope, that’s incorrect too.

Its getting stranger by every post you make here. I think you first need to find out your true handicap. My guess is its more like 20-25 then 11. If you are a beginner, scores north of 110 during competitive rounds are not that strange (as a 20+). For instance if you are playing those competitive rounds on other (longer?, more difficult?) courses then you normally play. Or if you play them on your home course from longer tees. You are showing us not even half the picture, so answers to your question are a wild guess.
