  1. Will there be a review posted soon or is there one already that I missed?
  2. Anyone have one of these yet? I would like to get one but I will have to wait till next winter, I mostly want to use it for indoor practice and playing some courses over the winter. Curious how it compares to the mevo in terms of accuracy.
  3. I've had these for a while and just haven't used them very much because I felt my swing was not in a place it needed to be and using these would just re-inforce a bad swing. Is there any truth to that or should I go ahead and start using them and get my ss up while working on my mechanics.
  4. Tee shots I can understand but not shots in the fairway, I've had shots where the holes were not close, and it put them on say I was on hole 4, it put them on hole 2. I would think they could add some logic that if I tee off from this hole, all shots after that are on that hole till I go to the next tee box, but idk how they have holes mapped either.
  5. Bringing this back from the dead, I recently switched to youtube.tv, which doesn't have the history channel, does anyone have any ideas how to get history channel, without switching to another service.
  6. I switched from gamegolf after I bought the pro and it was just a wreck, it took a long time to setup, to update you have to go update each individual sensor, which takes an hour or so, it wasn't reliable at all and never worked. Things I like about the arccos better, is it works almost every time, the button on the app to mark the flag location, and the stats it gives IMO are better.
  7. Ya I am thinking of going to the arccoss 360, if things with the pro don't improve by spring I'm switching.
  8. I would get a mevo instead, it's not a simulator but for $500 it gives you swing speed, distance etc.. and is pretty accurate.
  9. I'm starting to wonder if they are starting to die, they were supposed to release an upgrade to the pro in June, and 3 months later nothing.
  10. One of the courses I play has a par 3, that the tee shot has power lines running across the hole. I've played there probably 30 times never have I hit the power lines, one day I hit them 3 times in a row.
  11. That's good to hear, nice to know they are standing behind their product.
  12. Why do you need the transfer app? I haven't used it since I bought a live a while back, since then I've just used my phone.
  13. If you already have a nice push cart you may want to take a look at the ewheels. It basically looks like a big hover board. You remove the back wheels from your cart and put on an adapter that the unit clamps on to. I recently got one and loves mine. They retail for $600, but I got mine at budget golf with a 20% off coupon so it was only $500.
  14. I'm interested in trying this out, but I have an iphone and a nexus tablet, has anyone tried using it with iphone/android mixed?
  15. Perfect it was not, but my experience is far from the thing doesn't work at all. Of the putts it missed they were probably 90% tap in putts it missed. According to others who have multiple rounds under their belt, it gets better with registering shots, as far as approach shots or drives I cannot remember it missing any. Again I'm used to checking and moving the flag anyway so checking the number of putts were correct and adding in a tap-in here or there was not a big deal. I guess to each their own, you don't mind tagging, I thought I didn't either until I didn't anymore lol. I hope once you play a round with the updated firmware and new putter tag it works better.
  16. Well again, I move the flag to the correct location after every hole anyway so for me it is a non issue, it's better than having to go back at the end of the round and try to remember where the flag was. And it is a popup in the app that says confirm you had x number of putts on hole whatever, again not a big deal. You also don't have too, you can go and review at the end of the round like you would with classic or non-live. Ya updating the tags suck, but i doubt once they get everything settled and stable you will have to update the tags very often.
  17. See I felt the same way until I played around without having to tag at all. Hopefully they get all the issues worked out soon.
  18. I've only been able to play one round with mine so far, and surprising after reading all the issues people are having it worked pretty well. It did not pick up putts very well mostly tap-ins are the ones i had trouble with. I am used to having to go back and move the flag stick though after every hole so, I was able to check my putts and fix them at the same time anyway. The app also has a feature now after every hole you confirm your number of putts anyway. The biggest issue I had was for some reason on the last hole it just shut off, idk if I accidentally hit the power button or something but I had to log that hole manually because by the time I noticed it I was done with the hole. I was on the latest firmware and tag firmware before I played so anyone having issues make sure you update all that stuff, which is a pita because you have to do each tag on it's own, it would be nice to be able to update it all at one time or for them to do it automatically. As far as no longer tagging it was great, I did not mind tagging at all before but once I got used to not doing it, it just seems like so much less hassle. Did you try closing the gg app and see if the app refreshed to display correctly?
  19. There's no atmosphere in space! Sorry dad joke.
  20. Again he’s entitled to kneel if he wants, just like I can feel it’s inappropriate and disrespectful. Lots of people are ok with it, lots are not. Instead of drawing negative attention to your cause, do something positive about it, at the end of the day what good did kneeling do for his cause?
  21. Perception is everything, and by kneeling during the national anthem it's a sign of disrespect, I'm just saying he could have and should have picked a more appropriate way of voicing his protest, instead of advancing his cause he just drew attention away from it and put it on whether anyone agrees on whether he should kneel or not.
  22. I personally feel like they have every right to kneel if they want, but with that being said you are disrespecting something and the people who fight for your freedom's to protest something. He should have and could have found a much better way of getting his "cause" out there without disrespecting the flag, anthem and men and women of the the armed forces, etc... I wish the NFL would have let him take them to court instead of settling.
  23. The problem with going to the range, is you become to worried about where the ball goes, or what others think when you start topping balls. I would suggest getting a mirror, and practice net for your backyard if at all possible. With the mirror you can stop in your backswing and check your position, with a net you don’t care about where the ball goes and you can focus on the movement you’re working on, combine that with your camera and you’ll make progress in no time. My daughter plays sports and I’ve learned a ton from helping her in practice. Telling her, don’t worry about the result, a successful practice is one where you make progress on what your working to correct. You can not make changes and nothing changes, or you can take the advice of the people who know what you should fix right now and fix it, and in a month or 3 you’ll have fixed it and you can start working on the next thing.
  24. Here's my two cents, sign up for evolvr and get some consistent instruction. But before you do that make the commitment to improve. Reading through your thread everyone is telling you to change your grip, but you refuse to do it, because you hit bad shots when you change it. If you want to improve your swing, be prepared to play worse for a while, and by a while it depends on how much you practice, if you practice correctly, if you shut out random advice, golf shows, and youtube instructors. Listen to your instructor only, or you'll never get anywhere. The golf swing is complex, you change one small thing and it fixes other things, but until you get your swing in a good place it exposes 10 compensations you do to make up for that 1 bad thing, like your grip. So if you want to improve expect to get worse first and I mean 10 shots a round worse, I'm not where I want to be yet but when I first started doing lessons my scores went up at least 10 shots around and it was very frustrating. I stuck with it though and I improved, next golf season I had dropped down into the 90's and then low 90's and now depending on the day I can even get into the 80's. Get a good instructor, evolvr is good, and only listen to them, end of my rant.
