  1. Guys we are out unless I have a solo weekend around that time, will let you know if anything changes thanks.
  2. I met Lihu and we play every so othen, as well a few other guys we have meet up out side the outings to play so this has not been a waste at all for me any way. There is no bullet to take and everyone has been great, so I think it will be best if I go when I can. Really nothing more to be said, not trying to sell I was just asking.
  3. I think if you go back a few you will see that there was an issue, one with my son and the other with my father in law. Mt son because of his age and my father in law due to not being a member on the sand trap. So not to cause any issue I just want to be sure everyone is okay with this. We really enjoy coming to the outings and seeing everyone but in no way want to there to be issues or to cause any.
  4. I figure I have about 18 months before my son leaves for collage so until then I have no issue just playing with just him. I will have all the time in the world after that. Maybe no any money to play with if he gets in to a few of the schools he is looking at. I also just wanted to be clear with other guests there was a time unless they were member that we were not to bring them. So as long as everyone is good with it I will invite my father in law (Steve). He does have a handicap that he keeps up due to playing with IBM.
  5. Will see what everyone else has to say, I know if us 4 play were good but my father in law would like to also. Man I have not played much at all. With my step father passing away and driving to SD every weekend and my Justin Eagle Scout ceromoney this past weekend my game has gone to shit. I think I have play twice in 6 weeks.
  6. Guys were in. Question are we opening this up to none TST members? Thanks
  7. Hey guys, sorry not been around much. EOY darn near killed my company with the ports all jacked up. Then my step father passed away so I have been traveling back and forth to San Diego on the weekends. Have not had much time for golf or anything so ya we are in what ever date will be fine look forward to it.
  8. We all ready have a tee time for Santa Anita, feeling okay today looking forward to playing tomorrow.
  9. No but every time I think about it, it puts a smile on my face. Even now I am LOL that was a great day of fun and golf!
  10. Nope had a CT scan last week and seeing an ENT on Friday, taking way to many pain pills just to get through the day.
  11. I will second this, wish we could have made it but work is killing me right now and have been pretty sick the last few weeks. But will be looking at the next one to be there and see you all. If you have any pictures that would be nice to see. Tristan a new job congratulations.
  12. This one we will be sitting out, with Lihu on the ropes and work just can not commit. But have a good time to all you that are going see you at the next one.
  13. Got my son a new SLDR Driver, his HS team is starting up again this month so I thought it was time to get a full driver fitting. Balls for me and him. RD had a 20% off everything in the store this past weekend, the young lady at the check out was not sure if we were to get $100 off the driver or 20% so she gave us both. Have to say a new driver for $220 bucks could not go wrong.
  14. Lihu, Plus 1 (that is what I call her) is a great kid, but HS is hard, for the girls I think even a bit harder. From what I recall from Amanda the girls are just mean in HS. So just be there for her and help guild her along the way. I know you spend a lot of time with both of them and she sure has a lot of interests. If golf is for her she will let you know, you have a great relationship with her.
  15. Bummer for us, I am leaving for New Jersey early Sunday morning for the week. So it sort of looks like Nov is out for us at this point.
  16. My son and Lihu's son both play for the HS team, he may have more to add. My son did not make it the first year, he had only been playing 4 months before try outs. Last year he did and was about 4th man on a 7 man team. It was not uncommon for the HS team to shoot a little higher or in some cases very high then normal rounds when playing in a match after all it is full rules that are watched and in play. What I also saw and was told by my son a few of the older boys could bomb there drives well over 270 yards. He also had a boy that was about a 4 hc, he lived on the 9th hole Friendly Hill country club, played every day there, by the way is there home course . There team does have two boys that play in the high 90's. They don't have a JV team so if you make the team you are varsity, also they rotate the high score boy out on the next round so there is always 1 boy out. Tell your son to stick it out, it will get better for him and encourage him, he made the team after all. I did with my son and after a couple months he started to settle in. Playing JV is not bad it sets himself up to keep playing and gets used to being in a match with other boys. I can tell you my son sees boys he has played against all the time at the range or on the course, they are from all over OC and LA county. Your son will have such a great time it sounds like he is feeling a bit of the stress that comes with the game and playing for the school. Good luck to him.
  17. +1 on that glove, I have tried so many others but keep coming back to this one.
  18. Don't forget the X2hots! No wonder my game sucks and now we are
  19. That's not true, I played my last set for 18 months.
  20. Do you know anyone that owns a business? If so then ask them about it, they will know how to run and read the reports.
  21. Do you know anyone that can run you a D&B; on the course. It wont give you all the answers but at least you can see if there is any bad debt called in on them, who they owe how much and if they are paying on time.
  22. Guys we are in for what ever the date ends up being. Don't like the cart path only part, that always seems to be a cluster.
