  2. First off you seem to have a great athletic setup, but if you notice in the video your head is looking at the third pole, your hips are pointed at the second pole and your shoulders are pointed at the first.... Just my observation.
  3. Hey, here is another idea. Keep in mind that I am no training pro, I am just offering some advice. But it seems to me that all you really need is the sensation of swinging through the ground a couple of times. So take your normal position while standing on a 2 by 4 and take normal swings until you are making divoits. After 30 or so swings remove the board and you should be sending dollar bill divoits to the sky...
  4. I have noticed that John Daly does not spend alot of time over the ball. I guess that the Jack and Coke keep him pretty relaxed.
  5. Give this a try... Dig a hole about 2 inches deep and around the size of a dollar bill. Place a ball in the dollar bill sized hole and make swings until you are making solid contact. I am not an instructor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
  6. See, sliding is what I do not ever want to do..... But, now that I have watched his video on his, he is really not sliding at all. He has more of an angled push.
  7. Yeah, Serigo would have the club wrapped around his neck and touching his shoe laces.... It is a very solid swing....
  8. OK- I went to a lighted range last night and tried this "hip push towards the right toe" (i am left handed). And by doing this my back shoulder dropped alot during this move and I powered through the ball. I am hitting a Callaway 10 degree stiff and I actually had guys/gals coming over and watching me hit. I was flying 300 yards. Just to cast aside doubt I used my normal swing and was a good 260 to 270 every time. My swing I am told by people at the range still looks smooth, but I must admit I am not as consistant (still in the fairway for example, but not near as straight as my previous swing. Example being pulled backwards from the right belt buckle to inicate the swing. Where is this added distance coming from. Thanks for all the great input.
  9. What do you mean by "dropping your shoulders"......
  10. I carry (4) wedges in my bag. To me that is the most important part of my game..
  11. I have heard this term alot, "Let the arms drop" before you inicate the hips on the downswing. How does one achieve this. I really do not ever think about what I am doing, and I am sure that I am delivering the club on a proper path, but what is a good drill for letting the arms fall. I want to really experience this feeling once and for all....
  12. I think alot of it has to do with the simple fact that there is just way too much green in front of you. Alot of people I notice go to a range and just swing at balls. Remember to always zone in on a target and take 75% of the range out of play.
  13. Will you give me a link. I am terrible trying to find my way around.. ty
  14. Just wandering if it was possible to have a section in the forum where we could download videos of our swings for others to see.
  15. 6,5,4,3, 3 wood, Driver. I can put them all within 10 yards of 200...
  16. It is my belief that the only way to have a solid golf swing that is consistant week to week is to make it as compact as possible.
  17. When I started I would visualize a linebacker running at me during the shot. I knew it was gonna hurt like heck, but I was always ready for the tackle.
  18. Get to the range and let us know. But I still got my money on a quick fix shoulder alignment...
  19. I could not disagree more. I find their stories, backgrounds, and history very informative. If I wanna see birdies and pars all day then I'll go play (18).... But, I guess on the flip side it has been probably 2 years since I have actually watched a golf tourney.
  20. ok- you lost us all at "I practice".........

Have you seen an improvement in your game using his methods. I go to the range everyday and can vouch for his swing fundamentals.
  22. Check the line of your shoulders as well. I would be willing to bet that they are slightly open...... Hope this helps.
  23. lol. I tried to respond as quick as I could eariler. All I could imangine was you standing in front of your computer wandering, "How in the world is this clown swinging thru the ball like this.... :)

I have heard some say that with his method you will experience a loss of power and distance. I just for the life of me can't seem to understand that kind of thinking. I have very little rotation, but because of my size I am able to consistantly poke it out there 280-290 yards with little or no effort and with a shoulder turn that never gets past my chin. Sure I am told that with a bigger turn and wider arc I could gain 30-40 yards, but why. I am setting myself up for a swing that I can one day walk onto a course for a Monday qualifier and excute it just as I would any other day. Sure I play with guys that would blow it past Tiger, but most of the time there swing never holds up the entire 3-4 days. So while I'm carding scores in the 60's, all they really have to talk about is there 76 and the (1) downhill par 4 that they drove, and (3) putted.......
