  1. Mmmm.. Burner irons. Thinking about getting a set of these.
  2. I'm loving my 2008 SS NP - no complaints. It definitely does sound like someone's trying to sell you a Rossa, et al. :)
  3. Actually, if I may interject... Titleist is in Fairhaven, yes, but the club division (R&D;/Manufacturing) is in San Diego. Carlsbad to be specific. Callaway is in Carlsbad as well. A number of other golf companies make home in San Diego - Ben Hogan, the Scotty Cameron Studio, Taylormade/Adidas Golf, Aldida (shafts), Mitsubishi Rayon (shafts), True Temper. I'm sure there's more I've missed, but I can't recall at the moment. Anyway, my point is that if you want to get into club R&D;/development/manufacture.. then San Diego is the place to be.
  4. Considered it, but I'm not sure - I'm not a fan of the mushrooming effect the stamping gives. Yeah, I think I might want a double top sightline, single flange sightline. What do you think? The standard weight for the 33" - 360g. It's got a nice heft to it. I do like that idea - haha.. green grip, cloverleaf stamp on the face and in one of the dot circles, green filling, and find this headcover:
  5. Break out the cigars! We have a new arrival in my household - a virgin SC NP @ 33", with no sight lines, stock grip, stepless shaft. For you Scotty Cameron nuts out there, I'm going to ship it to the Custom shop to get sight lines added, and I'm not sure what I want to have done to it. I was thinking a double line on the top, and a single line on the flange, and maybe a lucky four leaf clover stamp. :) Any suggestions?
  6. My tour watching schedule consists of: the Open Championship the PGA Championship then the 3 closer FedEx events if there's a tight race for the Cup - Deutsche Bank and BMW Championship, wrapping up with the Tour Championship. Maybe the Ryder cup. Funny thing is that I'm getting married during the final round of the Tour Championship.
  7. I haven't seen a 35% link pop up in a while though. Deal might be getting dead if they don't refresh the pool of available 35% off coupons. CJUNE0810P is the coupon code for 10% stackable with the 10% or 35%
  8. Sorry - full price was $295 + $13 shipping, so with the cash back, $205.
  9. http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-...081/?start=200 Basically, sign up for a Live account, sign up for the cashback deal, then go to search.live.com and search for certain keywords (list on the first page of the thread), and a ad will show up with 35% Cashback on the top of the page. Sometimes, it'll show 5%, sometimes 10%.. Just keep searching until you see 35% - then you click on it, and it goes to eBay. Search anything you want in the eBay box, then hit BIN - it should show you a box with cashback on it. The cashback gets deposited in your Paypal account after 60 days. I just got a Scotty Cameron Newport 33" for $205 with $103 cashback.
  10. I thought it was Luke Donald that withdrew?
  11. Frankly, gentlemen... As much as I love Tiger and watching him play, I am getting sick of the media's handling of Tiger. Let's call it Tigermania. Every front page news story about the US Open had Tiger in it. Not Rocco who happened to be leading at one point. It was either a mix of "Tiger stutters" or "Tiger fights back". Come on! I want to hear about the other golfers too. I know Tiger's name sells, but really, we need to give airtime to other players too. The same goes for the coverage of the Open as well, because the coverage went like this: *5 minutes of Tiger deliberating* *5 seconds of Westwood putting* *5 minutes of Tiger deliberating and putting*. It sucked. However, it was one of the best Opens i've seen yet.
  12. THIS IS WHAT GOLF IS ALL ABOUT. WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. that was a great game... too bad we have to wait til tomorrow.
