I just went through the process of buying irons . I really wanted the Clevelands but didnt like the feel and had poor swing results . I also tried ap2`s mp 53`s . my last choice going into this were Ping s-56`s because my golf partner has them . but after all the testing was done side by side the Ping`s won . ymmv Mark

a local golf outlet had new r-11s for less than $200 . I still cant believe how light they feel

it would seem here in south east Michigan, that fewer people are playing. the greens fee`s are the same so one could conclude that the courses are still on the profit side of the equation. i`m not sure if that is reality or just my misguided opinion

after weeks of reading reviews to narrow the field , several trips to the golf shop to test hit different clubs individually . more trips to the store to hit clubs back to back . I chose the ping s56`s . I got fitted and I required a custom club . another weeks wait and I received them Thursday. work work and more work I finally get to go to the course . I blew up the front and the first two holes on the back and just cant figure it out . I made one small adjustment and finished one over for the last 5 holes . the amount of control built into these is incredible compared to my old C/B`s . this is my first fitted set of clubs . My divots were even heel to toe for the first time ever . woo haaaaa, Mark

to me , it sounds as if you are a bit shallow and the feelings you are trying to preserve are your own . I also feel you will be doing the both of you a favor by telling him to scram

while I do want to improve my game . I sometimes start to over analize my swing and create more problems . It was at the depth of one of these sessions that my friend Mike told me the plan for hitting my best on the course and it works well to this day . rule #1 , see the ball . Rule #2 , hit the ball . cliffs note being practice the range, play the course

I have hit houses and even sent one over I-75 . thankfully no carnage .learning to move the ball left and right can be a dangerous thing

I just cannot believe this statement is true

to me there is just a feel you get on a nice course . it starts when you pull into the parking lot and sticks with me until the 18th hole . there are great views , rolling hills , plenty of water hazards , tight fairways , real sand in the traps and receptive greens with a speed equivalent to linoleum . like I say it is a feel that lasts throughout the round and a course either has it or it doesnt

there are plenty of youtube video`s that can work you through any problems you may have if you are willing to invest the time and practice

I was standing on the 10th t box (blue) talking to my partner when the marshal pulls up all huffy .he yells at us to get moving I tell him to go ahead and yell 4 for me as the group on the white t box isnt done . he turned around and looked , pursed his lips and rode away. that is also coincidently, the last time I played that course .

from a durability standpoint do you have a preference ? from a performance perspective how do they differ ?

for that price I`d say it looks real "enough". if it is a fake and you paid a fire sale price , did you really get hurt ?
