WHOA I didn't mean any disrespect or to be judgmental, I'm just saying be wise with the money. you might take things likely, but the sad truth is that it is a lot worst. if you have a tight budget like that, im just saying that golf is no longer a priority. Lets think about this, your only car breaks down and you just spent 60 on golf on a very tight budget. you have no emergency fund. you use a credit card that you can barely pay the minimum payment for. now your getting tons of phone calls and your scared to pick up the phone because its the collectors. then you file for bankruptcy. then your house goes on foreclosure. now you, wife, kids, and golf clubs are in the streets. 60 saved every month for a rainy day really adds up. in a year you would have saved $720. So if something does arise then your ready, your set. sorry guys but i think that is far more important then golf. basketball is great sport buy a basketball $10-30 lasts a few years, you already have shoes that's free, basketball rim in the park that's free. 3 years of basketball = 10-30 dollars. great exercise. golf is a very expensive sport, that is why its originally known as a game for the rich. priorities has to be set, and golf comes last

I think its selfish that you even consider playing golf when your money is really tight. i really hope you don't have kids, but i feel so bad for your wife and how inconsiderate you really are. Save your money, their is more important things in life, like having a roof over your heads, food, transportation, saving for a rainy day. If you don't want a divorce, i would really consider using your funds more wisely.

your handicap is 20+ you probably shouldn't be playing a ball anymore then 25 dollars stay in the 20 dollar range please. tp reds wont improve your game at all, plus they are 40 a dozen. look into the topflite gamer, freak, feel. 20 a dozen callaway hx hot 25 a dozen e6 if u slice alot 20-25 a dozen -
what clubs did you want to do? you already have callaway irons. are you getting another set of irons?
-
oh man in that case my new handicap is 36

Tour issue scotty cameron putter
RickPro replied to Teedub7's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
i have a limited edition model and i play with it every now and then as long as weather conditions are perfect. most people you play with wont even know what a limited edition putter is, but its nice to have and flash to test to see if they know what it is. -

gamers is a good ball. i tried it because i was forced to by a friend after loosing a bet. but i was pleasantly surprised, its not a bad ball at all. its a 3 piece ball too. spins well, doesnt check up or spin back like my nike one platinums, but for 1/2 the price you cant go wrong. top flite is not a company i would buy from, but now i have a change of heart. if im really pressed on cash or see a crazy water/hazard hole and dont want to lose any balls, i would probably play with the gamers. for your game though, try callaway hx hots, top flite feel, or e6 if you slice alot -
she can hit it further, but she doesn't completely let loose, because she has more confidence at hitting it at a certain slower tempo. on tour you dont try to drive the ball 300 yards everytime, its not a long drive contest. dont worry about distance, but worry about hitting the fairway. give yourself an opportunity to shoot a low score on the hole.

i have no problems. i started playing golf because i use to be a caddy at a private golf course and they gave the caddies free used golf clubs, with bags, balls, etc... i was left handed, and hated golf passionately. i was all about basketball. i shoot basketballs, throw, bowl, write, bat left handed, but comes to golf i play right handed. i have no problems. the 1st clubs i have ever swung were left handed clubs. so i got used to that and only that. so i had no problems playing the game of golf.

what you need to do is not to focus on golf. focus on other things. like strike up a conversation about cars, boats, sports, whatever. this will help you not focus on golf and let loose and relax and play because there will be no pressure. just approach your ball and let it rip. the less you focus on the golf, the better you do. try that and let us know how you do.

whoa you took second place shooting 77. where do you play your tournaments? i can really clean house there. 77 won't get you far here.

Looking into a Golf Membership - Have Some Questions
RickPro replied to sioutdoors's topic in Golf Talk
no need to get a membership, just pay for golf per round. that was one of the biggest mistakes i have made before. all that money i spent, but only to play 1 course. i dont know about you, but i like to test my skills at other courses. i like have a variety of courses to play at. -
one back for ladies is the minimum for mens, better known as senior tees also. with your distance, u can go 2 spots back of the ladies. probably blues would be best for you.
