  1. I know, for me, it was the process of setting up to video my swing. It was a hassle to set my phone up, take a swing or 2, review the video, make any necessary adjustments, and swing again. Not to mention, if the range is busy, getting a face on video isn't going to happen. Also, I tend to do better with an in person instructor and immediate feedback, as I am not good with feels and knowing where my hands and arms are, versus where they need to be.
  2. I'm so sorry for your loss! We had to put our dog down, a year ago this week, and I swear that I can still hear her scamper occasionally!
  3. Both of the stores, near me, are staying open. It's a bit surprising that the Clearwater store is staying open. Compared to the Tampa store, it's pretty small, and there is a huge DSG within 5 miles of it. It works for me though, it's on my way home from work!
  4. I always use a tee. Where some have mentioned that they have mental hang-ups about using them, I find it reassuring that the ball looks so pretty being perched up!
  5. @GolfLug Here's the totality of the OP and follow-up that I was referring to.
  6. The OP used $2000 as the price for the irons. Someone else mentioned that if you throw in the rest of the set, the price could jump up to ~$3000 total.
  7. I went with 3-4 times a day, as an average. While I'm at my desk, I'll check back several times a day. On the weekends and in the evening, very rarely.
  8. A slight move back up, from 15.7 to 16.0.
  9. My wife and I debate this topic occasionally. We both believe that there is climate change and that it is getting warmer. However, our attribution percentages are where we differ. We agree that it is a mix of global cycles and man-made, and woman-made, to harken back to another thread. She says it is 75/25 waste/global cycles where as I am more 40/60. Either way, we should be absolutely doing more to slow the process. We will probably never reverse it, as it is a naturally occurring cycle. But it doesn't mean we shouldn't try to keep from helping it approach.
  10. Played in a tournament this weekend and absolutely blew up! I shot a 105 and it could've easily been much worse. For the most part, I was playing stupid golf, with some "Where the hell did that come from?!" shots thrown in there. I took an 11 on a Par 4 because I decided to Tin Cup 3 drives OOB, compounding it with a 3 putt. I'm normally ok out of the traps, but I had a case of the skulls that day. The only thing saving me, was some of those shots hit the lip and squirted on the green. Not to mention, it was a 5:45 minute round on a 95 degree day. Not saying that was the reason for my h

  12. I'm about 14%. I average just under 4 GIR/round and a birdie every other round. By the math, .03/.22=13.6%. My HI is currently 16.1.
  13. Either a knock down 52* or a full 56*.
  14. Congrats! Sometimes playing free and loose is the best way to shoot well!
  15. Does every golfer get one of these for the weekend?!?!
  16. I use my head until the end of the hole. I'll record my total via card and pencil when riding or a phone app when walking.
  17. I remember when she hosted World Poker Tour broadcasts. Fox News does seem to like 'em blonde and beautiful!

I didn't get one, as I was looking for something different. It may not necessarily help with the sweating issue, but it will help to keep your gloves tacky.
  19. I went to the one near me (Tampa) once. I took my brother when he came down for a golf weekend, as he had never heard of them. We had a good time, but it's tough to get in. During the week, in the evening, it's an average of an hour wait. On the weekends, it's an 1.5-2 hour wait. My brother went right when it opened on a Friday morning and stayed for a couple of hours. It was jammed, with a line out the door, when we left.
