  1. If I was there, I'd pay the grand for 6 shots.
  2. Oh, I was adding to your sarcasm, while at the same time pointing out to others that they need not worry.
  3. Shot an 76 in absolutely sweltering heat. It was closing in on 40*C (104 in that wierdo degree system you yanks use) at 8am. It was so hot, that for the first time in two years, when not playing with my father, we decided to use carts. Not just any carts either, fully enclosed, air conditioned carts. I had never played there before, even though its not that far, but its a $130 green fee with the cart, each.98* if you aren't riding, but we all rode. In the end, it was totally worth it. We all had a great time. I won some nice bets. Lost some not so nice ones, and got to play one of the n
  4. No more than a sprinters coach would (they don't), or a hockey teams coach would (they don't), or a baseball teams coach(they don't). Last wonter Olympics, one of the players who had 2 or three previous golds, gave his to their coach. But it was not awarded by the IOC. Anywy, no, it should be 4 days, 18 holes/day, have a cut after 36 holes, low score over 4 days wins. Should be no more than 3 golfers per country. And absolutely no Belly/broomstick putters.
  5. I guess I can understand if your driving is bad, but 7500yds is a monster. But I would be more intimidated by 'Heaven" day. Over driving greens, not knowing distances. Hell da is easy.
  6. I have a couple dozen now from demo days, tournament prizes, all that stuff. I use it one day, then clean them with it again at home, throw it in the wash and put another on the bag for next round.
  7. No 'breakfast balls', no 'gimmes', and play it as it lies. I warm up with a small bucket beforehand (30 balls). I play golf. Not a weekend duffer. But I also play tournament golf, with a second in the Moosehead Dry Open this year. Unfortunately, our provincial tourny schedule is only 5 tournaments, then provincials. That said, if we are not playing for money, you may play any way you want. Just don't expect me to play your way. I NEVER comment on others breaking rules, UNLESS they specifically ask me for a ruling or ask me beforehand to tell them the rules. This has no happened m
  8. Any possibility in getting them in this style? The only kind of hats I'll wear.
  9. 68 on a par 72 goat track that should certainly not been more than a par 70, one of the easiest courses I have ever played. Not a single green was bunkered. Kinda disapointing.
  10. Squire green, Hole#1, firs and second shots are completely blind to the green, just bad course design. If you get a good drive, you are either forced to lay up 30 yards to the 90* dogleg, or ake a chance at floating a wedge shot 75 feet high over the stand of Spruce protecting the right side of the green which is just bad disign. Most people chip out to the dogleg, but as long as im 50 yards + away from the tree, I'll float a very high 48* wedge over the trees, which will land on the rock hard green behind it. I make sure I get lots of backspin so that it lands directly at the back flat of the
  11. I love playing people with Vanity caps. I give them less strokes tan they deserve, and win anywhere from 1$ to $5 dollars a stroke. I also have a once a year 'High Stakes" game with very good friends, who are all at or near scratch, but one of them had to be replaced by a guy who has a vanity cap and is closer o a 5-6 than the 1hc he has listed. It was Ed and I VS Ron and a new guy, Terry, since his regular partner had a bad accident that spring and couldn't play at all during 2012. Terry is the Vanity capper, and we play 100$/Stroke, with 25 and 50$ side bets. Last year my partner Ed a
  12. I still believe that once she rids herself of Leadbetter, she will be a much better player. I mean maybe the putting this is helping her with the yips, or pulling the trigger, but her full swing stats are what is truly troubling, im.

Luckily for you, i'm happily married, and she is far hotter than any cart girl I have ever sen. Seeing other hot women just makes me realize that what is at home is everything I have ever wanted. I mean, hell, she lets me play 1
  14. You did not bother me. You are upset I gave you an answer you dont want to hear. You bought the wrong shaft. Nothing more to it.
  15. No, I spend a lot of time down south, family has summer homes in Florida and South Carolina, got them at Old Palm Golf Course in Florida. Fitters name was Mark. When i'm down there in august, I may get fitted for one of their putters.
  16. No, cutting it isn't going to do anything but give you less distance, imo. You just bought the wrong shaft for you, a common problem, as most people don't want to spend the extra few dollars for a fitting, or just don't know they need to be fitted. The only thing that will give you the ballflight you need is to be fitted for a proper shaft for you. You can't expect one shaft to perform like a totally different one. Just because your old shaft was high launch means nothing, it is a totally different shaft with different flex and kick points. If you want the right shaft for you,
  17. My Edels were pricey, but I would buy them all over again in a second. Having fitted wedges of one type is one of the the greatest golf purchases I have ever made.
  18. 43" seems like a really short driver. That would cut SOME distance. But no shafts are made equal. I would say this is a case of not being properly fitted, and buying the wrong shaft. And the shaft you bought is listed as a high launch shaft if you look at their website..
  19. I switched to the Superstroke Fatso 85. I have huge hands, and it has really, really made a HUGE improvement in my stroke. After getting used to it, I went back to Golftown and bought 5 more, in case they changed or discontinued the model. Put one on my Seemore (the original black one I bought), one Green on my Scotty Cameron, and put spare blue, Black and Red ones away in the closet for the future. Im OCD when I find something that I feel is head and shoulders better than everything else on the market, and overstock things, like Penta TP5's, these Fatso Grips, and Golf Pride 2G
  20. Whoops, accidently reported my own post when I meant to edit it, hahaha.
  21. I play a lot of 6am tee times, and I'm just fine as long as I'm in bed by 11pm the night before. I have tons of energy though. I eat right, run, and go to the gym every day, so golf is just liesurely fun.
  22. I had offset irons (PING G10's), and I hated them. I mean truly and totally hated them. Not a strong dislike or irritation, but outright hatred. But, different strokes for different folks.
