  1. By being out of position, he puts everyone behind him off the pace. He was talked to and warned. He lost out.
  2. Nice, making an alt account to bash Tiger, with an obvious anti-Tiger name.
  3. I dont believe it has anything to do with which player it was. The ruling would have been the same if the circumstances were the same, I think. I don't believe for a second that the Masters committee is favoring Tiger. If TV stations were making the decisions, I would say you might be right, but they aren't.
  4. Which is better than the 3 strokes total he had to add.
  5. See your doctor and talk to him about low dose Human Growth Hormone treatments. Depending on your doctor, as well as the rules in your state/country, some will never consider it. Others understand and studied the effects, and believe firmly in it. Have you ever talked to a doctor about hormone replacement therapy?
  6. Yup, its bothering fans more than it seems to be bothering Tiger.
  7. This. he has to come back from 3 penalty strokes to win. If he does so, its another fantastic win.
  8. I dunno, personally, I'm all for doing the right thing, but at the same time, I am all for allowing the rules officials to look after the rules, and the players to look after the playing. Not excusing what Tiger did, but at what point, with all the pressure on them, do we stop making them be responsible for EVERYTHING. In a lot of ways, this isn't the game Bobby Jones played, and i'm guessing that the rule book is far more complex, and far larger than it was when Jones was playing. I think every group should have a RO, and the onus should be on them to assign penalties. Players should still call on themselves when they know they've broken a rule or moved their ball, but it should not be all on them. Not with all the pressure already on them, compared to back in the day.
  9. maybe not, but I know for a fact Celine Dion;s husband does it at a course he is a member And huge financial backer of. And worst ******* in sports, not just golf, Patrick Roy.
  10. Congrats on the new irons, by why not just have the PING clubs rebent to proper specs for you, they do it free of charge, and ship em back to you free? I understand the need for new irons, trust me, I indulge too often. But if it was just about loft and ie, it could have been fixed for free.
  11. I've pointed out multiple times that it doesn't make sense to me, as I generally know the rules. Point is, i'm just wondering if we haven't all missed something. Would he not have two club lengths from the original shot? Or same spot?
  12. I have never understood brand loyalty and brand matching. Especially when you may love a companies irons, but play much better with another companies woods. As far as clothing, well, if you do the bright one color thing, you are kinda asking for it. I wear a lot of Loudmouth Gear, I love it because it comes in a 37 unhemmed, which I can then have Hemmed to 35" inseam. Plus, I like some of their pants, and a lot of their shirts. But the black shirts with the accents aren't near as 'loud' as the pants, which makes for breaking up the crazyness of the pants. Shoes are Footjoy, Puma, or Nike. Only thing I'm brand loyal to is skates. They need to be GRAF's.
  13. Gamers spin, check and even run back just fine. They are actually one of the better balls I have used. Most high handicappers focus way too much on the ball anyway. Learn to swing first, as long as you aren't hitting ricks, you won't see a huge difference. Its only the last year where i've started gaming a tour level ball, and for me, I found I got the best feel and play out of TP5's. I still play them, and will be for a while. But I wouldn't complain if you told me I had to play around with any of the Gamer line.
  14. I always keep my score in my head, to write down after every hole. But my GPS keeps track of it far better, with shots, club used, distances. Its a great gadget for when nobody is behind you, and time is not important, you can learn a lot about your game and your clubs.. Scorecard is fantastic as well.
  15. Its also just perfectly possible that he was within two club lengths.
  16. And Feherty also talked about it being red staked, which also sounded wrong, but I until I see a replay up, I cant be 100% sure that he said red. Still close though. Im positive he claimed it to be red.
  17. I just think we are missing something. I know Feherty said he could drop 2 yards behind his original spot, which was perhaps the 4th option you pointed out of a drop zone. I don't understand it obviously, and I don't think you are wrong, but I know it was brought up before he replayed the shot, because I expressly did a double take and asked myself why Feherty could say he could drop 2m behind him, but it was 100%, most definitely said.
  18. I love my spiked shoes, can't golf without them. I have 3 pairs. I tried spikeless shoes, they turned into a pair of spare loafing around shoes, because they blew for golf. Big fan of Nike, Footjoy, and Puma shoes.
  19. And OP is like 30, not 53. No way he should be tired after 18 holes.
  20. naww, there is no dq. He was given the option of dropping there by the rules official on the hole. Feherty spoke of his options before he took the second shot, and that was one of them.
  21. Oh that. I dunno, even Feherty said that tiger had 3 options for a drop there, and one was about 2 yards behind him. I dunno why, I know it was red stakes, but thats what was said before he made the shot.
  22. Huh? Tigers DQ? As in Disqualification? For what?
  23. The are like hitting rocks.
  24. my 52* GW for sure. I am money with that club. My 9i is pretty accurate too. 145 yards and straight, almost every time. My 19* hybrid is great over 210 yard, I wouldn't say i'll stick greens with it, but i'll usually be close to my mark. I get very little roll with it too, compared to my irons, which is what I like for those long shots. Nothing worse than knowing i've got a 4-5i in, because whie my carry is consistent, I get a lot of bounce and roll out with both of them. Sometimes its 5 yards, sometimes its 30. I definitalye try to play my first shots in an area where I wont need a long iron in to be accurate. Hoping a shaft fitting will fix the issue for me, and give me more predictable distance with those long irons.
